I am well and truly grateful that this exists and I'm absolutely hooked.
Please do not lose your way and do not stop listening to the players. The PLAYERS, not the streamers, not the content creators, not the sweats, not the casuals, everyone in between, your actual core audience.
I don't think WoW would ever recover if this slips into your usual practices Blizzard.

For WoW Forever I'm putting some rules on myself for full blown adventuremaxing. I encourage anyone who wants to get a little more out of the game and take their time, to do the same.
The only exception is none of these apply if I'm grouping with other players for obvious reasons, unless of course they're following the same rules.
Here's my adventure ruleset:
1. No flight paths and no hearthstoning, unlocking them is still acceptable.
2. When traveling, attempt to stick to safe routes/roads where possible.
3. Every time I stop by an Inn/Town I have to eat at least one meal (both food and drink.)
(I've done the math for foot travel on Azeroth and technically if scaled up to earth size, 30 seconds of running is equal to traveling for one day on Earth, which is insane so I'm abstracting it to every time I reach a place of rest.)
3B. If no place of rest is available or I'm going to be out in the world for a while, do it at the nearest quest hub or every hour or so.
3C. After acquiring a mount, double the amount of food consumed to account for an additional mouth to feed. If playing a hunter I must also feed my pet when I eat.
4. Upon logging out, only log out in a place that offers rested XP, if no place is available at least somewhere that makes sense to be safe. If I don't have time due to an emergency or something, at least log out at a campfire for immersion.
5. No quest assistant addons.
6. Read all quest text, as well as any relevant text on readable quest items
7. Repairing my gear can only be done at the appropriate vendor. Only a blacksmith can repair armor/weapons, only a bowyer can repair a bow, etc.
8. Mounts cannot be used in particularly rough terrain/environments and must be left behind, i cannot remount until I return to roughly where I left it.
I may add more if I think of any, but for now this is the plan, it's not meant to be some grueling realism challenge or anything like that, this is just for a sprinkle of extra immersion and fun.

I really hate those youtube videos that are like "I gave x game 1 hour to impress me!" It just comes off so pretentious and I skip it every time
Parents please check your kid's candy this year, I found one whole fent inside a jolly rancher, can't be too safe these days smh
I'll never forget the bug in the MoP beta that caused the entire game to crash for anyone in the area when some beach turtles used their ability
Quite possibly my RPG of the year, can't recommend it enough for fans and newcomers alike
Final Fantasy Resonance might be my RPG of the year so far, it really is a love letter to the entire series
All the people bitching about this don't seem to realize that adding housing actually fits perfectly with the philosophy of Forever.
They're adding stuff that was cut content on the original release of the game, housing was literally that. That's why Stormwind had that portal to nowhere in the canals for all those years until they removed it in Cataclysm. That's where the alliance houses were going to go (at least for the humans.)
While I don't think they should use retail as their blueprint, it would be a really cool addition.
Player housing is coming to WoW Forever!?
One of the few retail features I think would actually work really well in Forever. Can’t wait to see their take on it 🔥
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The clip from the official WoW Forever podcast teases future hidden instance portals and content in in-game homes/manors (such as the expanded Manor Mistmantle location/dungeon in Duskwood), not player housing.

Honestly I already mourned bioware a long time ago, they've been a zombie company trying to imitate what they once were for over a decade while also being completely absorbed by politics infecting everything they did. At this point this feels like a mercy killing.
This is why I still call all my vtuber friends by their username even if I know their real name, form the habit to avoid the mistake.
Everyone really should try it while they have a chance, even if you aren't an MMO or a WoW fan
All players are invited to the WoW: Forever Stress Test on October 19th, with no invitation or subscription needed!

Is it weird to have no ambition? I don't have any dreams, no goals, no motivation to try and achieve something, I do the bare minimum in my career.
Idk it just always seems like everyone else has it and it's always been so foreign to me.
I just wanna say @BriarBorealis has my favorite model in vtubing rn, the way it looks and moves is just chef's kiss 🤌

The trend of vtubers complaining about artists never meeting their deadlines but refusing to name those artists shows they don't actually care about solving the problem or care in the slightest about other vtubers getting taken advantage of.
If you cared, you'd name and shame.
I generally dislike racing games, but I do love star wars, should I give it a shot?
"I was not planning on picking up Star Wars: Galactic Racer, but with its great reviews and actual friend recommendations, I relented. And I am sure glad I did"
Read on to find out why Paul Tassi at @Forbes thinks STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ deserves its 88 Metacritic score.
Surely I'm not the only one who takes a break from watching a lot of streamers in the month of October because the vast majority are all gonna focus on horror and most of it is just slop.
FR, a real friend tells you you screwed up, talks to you about it, and gives you a chance to make it right. Dumping a person because they do one thing wrong just means you're a coward who can't handle conflict and your friendships are cheap to you. You will never make meaningful connections with people EVER as long as you have this mindset. People are not perfect and it's foolish to expect perfection.
I've literally had people just recently call me a spineless coward just because I gave my friends a second chance after they did something stupid and it completely baffled me. Those friends I gave a second chance to btw apologized and made the change, they became better people and us closer friends for it.
