The incredible journey of @Simone_Biles deserves more recognition. From foster child to sexual assault survivor to overcoming mental health struggles, she is now the oldest champion in 70 years and the greatest gymnast of all time. #SimoneBiles #Olympics
We all need to read/ understand others point of views & expertise. I too am concerned with the ease with which our republic can fall. January 6 foretold a weakening of our republic & constitution. It continues with the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity. Dangerous.
Take a few minutes today to read David McCullough’s speech: “The Glorious Cause of America.” For 248 years, our freedom has survived. Now, its defense is up to us. We must defeat the former president who threatens to unravel our Republic. We must not fail. speeches.byu.edu/talks/david…

I’m sorry. It’s long past time
for there to be a comprehensive criminal investigation, and congressional investigation, of Justice Thomas and his finances and his taxes. What he has taken, and what he has failed to disclose, is beyond belief, and has been so for quite some time.
BREAKING:
Clarence Thomas just acknowledged additional luxury travel he accepted from conservative billionaire Harlan Crow — amending a previous financial disclosure to reflect trips to an Indonesian island and a secretive all-male club in the Northern California redwoods.
The trips, taken in 2019, were earlier revealed by ProPublica, but it is the first time that Thomas has included them on his financial disclosures. nytimes.com/2024/06/07/us/su…

As a physician I am deeply concerned about North Carolina's potential total ban on mask-wearing. It’s disturbing to think immunocompromised and cancer patients could be deemed criminals for following medical advice aimed at safeguarding their health. 😞 thehill.com/homenews/state-w…
