Great civilizations are built by those who struggle and strive for excellence, not by those who lower standards to eliminate failure.
The riots in France are a sad reminder that civilization can be torn down in an instant by the fools who never could have built it in the first place. Our civilization is worth protecting. It took centuries to build, but it only takes one generation to destroy it.
The fact that this ever happens should make it clear that we don't push adoption enough. No one will force you to be a parent. But there are so many out there who want to open their hearts and homes.
This newborn baby was found in a dumpster in Houston, Texas.
