I’m thrilled to share that my short book will soon be published in Hebrew by Tchelet Books, one of Israel’s leading publishing houses, and will be available digitally and in bookstores within weeks. Hamas: The Enemy of Gaza brings to Israeli readers a Palestinian perspective on the complex reality of life in Gaza under Hamas, challenging the common perception that the group enjoys broad popular support. Blending the story of Hamas’s rise to power with my own experiences and insights, the book offers a concise account of how the terror group became one of the greatest disasters to befall the Palestinian people. It examines the historical, political, regional, religious, and strategic forces that enabled Hamas’s entrenchment, while also highlighting Israeli policies that shaped its trajectory and contributed to the path leading to October 7. I will share details on how to obtain a copy as soon as they become available in Israel.
I am also pleased to share that my short book will be translated and published in four additional languages: Greek, Italian, Norwegian, and French, with efforts underway to secure a German publisher. Importantly, with the help of several allies, I am also working to have the book published in Arabic. That effort has proven challenging, as many publishers deem it “too controversial” because of its unequivocal opposition to Hamas’s “resistance” narrative and my argument and declaration that the group is holding Gaza’s Palestinians hostage to its Islamist, jihadist, and ultimately nihilistic ideology and agendas.
Last night a number of us spoke to people going in to watch the NAZA film at Phoenix Cinema.
We asked viewers to take a QR code which directed them to a second documentary, one that presents an alternative view.
Many people took the flyer and said they would watch the documentary, but some rejected the idea outright, deciding ahead of time that it would be 'all lies'.

Reassuringly, the police had no problem with our presence and many customers were prepared to take a leaflet and keep an open mind.

Outside of Phoenix Cinema yesterday as the film NAZA was being shown. The term NAZA refers to an Israeli military target-acquisition system or process, which includes tracking of targets and proportionality assessments. War is horrible, but it seems that this is an argument against the genolibel.
For balance I will watch both. I have watched the documentary below.

Michael Bennett was a young child, sitting on his father's shoulders during the famous Battle of Cable Street. During this year's 90th anniversary he was proud to remember his father being among the crowds who stopped Mosley's Blackshirts, and spoke movingly about it at the Cable Street Jews rally on 4 October.
Yet in the build-up to the anniversary, the organisers of the 'official' march chose to tarnish those like Michael whose relatives fought so bravely at Cable Street, preventing them from joining the Unite march. As Michael says in this clip, many union leaders have taken up anti-Semitic stances, and 'it's just become a kind of cloak that's being put on by the left'.

He co-founded British Friends of Israel within weeks, and the group spearheaded the October Declaration. It asked people to condemn anti-Semitism and stand in solidarity with British Jews, and urged the media and politicians to call Hamas what it is: a terrorist organisation. Tens of thousands of people from across the political spectrum signed it.
Toby has long been a fearless defender of free speech, British values, fairness in education, and other vital principles, and he has frequently put his reputation on the line to defend them. To that list he has added solidarity with British Jews and advocacy for the state of Israel.
Toby is a true #MENSCH.

#️⃣ Allison Pearson, Telegraph columnist and political commentator, co-founded British Friends of Israel barely weeks after 7 October. She was one of the driving forces behind its October Declaration, which asked people to condemn anti-Semitism and stand in solidarity with British Jews, and urged the media and politicians to call Hamas what it is: a terrorist organisation. Tens of thousands of people signed it.
She is also one of the bravest defenders of free speech and British values our country has to offer, and she has paid a price for it. Allison recently sued the Essex Police and Crime Commissioner for libel and won substantial damages after she was visited by police and accused of "inciting racial hatred" because of a post on X. Everyone in the UK who shares her values is grateful that she took a stand, and recognises the significance of her victory.
Allison is a great friend of ours, and an exemplary #MENSCH.
