8 years ago the world lost Freddie Gray to fatal injuries he sustained at the hands of the Baltimore City Police Department. He was 25 years old. Today and everyday we honor his memory by continuing to advocate for justice and police accountability. #blacklivesmatter

The Governor has already been removed from all forms of parole decisions except for medical parole decisions, and SB33 fixes what amounted to a drafting error of previous legislation. We look forward to @LukeClippinger getting this easy fix across the finish line! #MDpolitics

Great point from Nicole @Out4JusticeOrg : "The state should look at the prior progress we have made and implement those policies" instead of just passing new laws. Sometimes when legislation gets to the agency level, progress stalls or programs lack funding.

On this #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, we’re calling on @md_sbe to designate federal agencies within the state as voter registration agencies.
Federal agencies operating in Maryland can help reach eligible voters who register at lower rates. #MDpolitics #MDvotes
