ALT Kelvingrove in Glasgow was used as a location for recent filming of the much anticipated Outlander prequel series, Blood of My Blood, Outlander prequel Blood of My Blood series  has found its lead actors and  production is under way in Scotland. Filming began at Doune Castle in Scotland in January on Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a show that will focus on the parents of the leads in the main series. Starz previously said the prequel would center on Jamie Fraser’s  mother and father; the premium cabler now confirms that Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) parents will also be part of the story. ALT The eighth and final season of “Outlander” has begun begin filming in Scotland . Season 8 filming is due to start in March .This season will continue to delve into the lives of Claire and Jamie Fraser, adapting Diana Gabaldon’s ninth book “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone,” against the backdrop of the American Revolutionary War. With Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan reprising their roles, the season promises a conclusion to their time-bending romance. The release is speculated for the first half of 2025, wrapping up the series with anticipated high stakes and emotional depth .
