If Oregon State can resign @jlegree24 early to help build the foundation for next year, who’s to say @CSUFootball can’t do the same w @HaussHejny ??? 👀🙏📈

CSU defensive coordinator Kenny McClendon on Jim Mora's viral comments about the new Rams DC practically living in the facility.
"I'm lucky. Like my wife is sitting right there & helping me draw up every single call... I've got a great support system."

I think a lot of people are lacking context.
McLendon's wife is on the staff. She's just as all in as he is.
It's a life-changing opportunity — regardless if it came in an unorthodox way.
Appreciate people advocating for balance / mental health. But their passion is badass.
Replying to @DNVR_Rams @CSURams
People hating on this dude for doing everything he can to fully take advantage of this opportunity are ridiculous.
I’ve seen a few pages rank CSU basketball anywheres from 4th to all the way as low as 6th in the PAC this year.
Here’s my full breakdown of why CSU should be not only top 4 but a team that pushes USU for that 2 spot: 👇
#1 Roster Continuity - Rams return over 50% of their scoring production from a year ago and majority of their shooters from a team that ranked top 10-15th in the country throughout last years season
Notable returners:
Jase Butler
Carey Booth
Kyle Jorgenson
Josh Pascerelli
Rashaan Mbemba
Jojo McIver
#2 Improved athleticism - Rams bring notable freshman who have absolutely shined in camp and absolutely POP when watching them in person. Pops Dunson, Eric Fiedler, and JADEN GHOREISHi who looks like a future all PAC 12 guy. Added athleticism in the freshman ranks along with retaining Carey Booth who can jump out of the gym whenever he pleases.
Side note: A Jaden Ghoreishi vs Carey Booth dunk contest may warrant a national audience…
#3 One extra year learning Ali’s system, his tendencies as a coach, and understanding his vision for the program - New goals for this years squad but also what comes with that is the confidence that they can be accomplished. They believe they’re a 2nd weekend team in March and want to contend with the big dogs.
Playing in the Maui invitational will battle test these guys enough for conference play but also give them at large bid opportunities.
Last not not least, I’ve done research on virtually every team in the league, and I’m not high on Boise this year, I’m not super high on SDSU even though I do like Bear Cherry, and Oregon State will have to prove to me they can make noise with their portal additions.
Give me the Rammies at #3 in the PAC 12 as my preseason ranking

Lest you think that Pops and Jaden did this against chopped liver,…
Arizona State players on the floor included Paulius Murauskas, two time All-WCC first team and preseason Big 12 First Team, Joel Foxwell, first team All-WCC last season, 7’1” Ben Defty, All Patriot League 2nd team last season. Jrob Croy, 4-star 2026 guard, and Dillan Shaw, All-WCC Freshman Team in 2026.
Irritating thing about this is how Mora was oblivious to what Summers was teaching in the summer and fall camp. And if he knew about it and didn’t make changes, that’s discouraging.. It’s good changes are being made but this needed to be fixed and worked in practice back in the spring and summer.
"We finally have a system. And these guys are finally going to learn how to play defense. It should have happened a long time ago."

My preseason Pac 12 projections 👇
1. Gonzaga (stacked backcourt plus Huff. Gonna be tough for anyone to stop)
2. Utah State (I thought about putting CSU but just couldn’t do it. Falslev may win POY)
3. Colorado State (Booth, Butler, Jorg is a solid big 3 with Pascerelli and Mbemba possibly coming off the bench)
4. SDSU (Defense will still be solid and look out for Tae Simmons to make a huge jump)
5. Oregon State (brought in an intriguing group of transfers that could make OSU a bubble contender and a darkhorse)
6. Boise State (Lost a lot of key weapons and foundational players. I’m interested to see how Rice can keep his job this year if they can’t score)
7. Texas State (From what I’ve heard, not the most well rounded roster but DJ Hall is a good player and they have sneaky good guards)
8. Fresno State (Once again could be a sneaky team as always but hard to project Fresno to compete for postseason basketball in this conference)
9. Wazzu (This one could definitely come back to bite me in the ass. They could be as high as 7 but not much to project with this squad at the moment. Hope I’m wrong about them)

Going along with my individual player projections, here are my top 16 "most talented" 3P shooting rosters going into next season (D1 returning minutes only for now)
Calculated as a mixture of high-level shooting ability and depth of competent/above average shooters
