February was busy, yet rewarding for our school community. We had a great Parent Night for the book fair, an awesome assembly for the Space Cowboys & celebrated Black History Month with a Family Night.
This year's Bookworm Festival was incredible. Our students had an opportunity to meet the authors of books they've checked out from our library. They also won golden tickets for free autographed books.
January was awesome in Outley's library! Kinder did a Turn and Talk expressing their New Year's resolutions after Ms. Anderson read. We participated in Crayola's Creativity Week by creating masterpieces with markers. Students also worked cooperatively completing a scavenger hunt.
We represented Outley at our Digital Learning Community Meeting this week as Salt and Pepper Blues Clues style. As a dynamic duo, we add flavor and spice to our school.
We love books and celebrating great characters at Outley. Our Book Character Parade was full of energy and excitement and nothing less than exceptional!
Family Night in the library celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month was awesome! Everyone enjoyed playing Loteria and winning the prizes.
Outley celebrated National Literacy Month today by participating school-wide in the H-E-B Big 3 Read In. #HEB #Read3ReadIn
We had a great time celebrating International Dot Day in the library. Thanks Ms. Lockman for your contribution.
Welcome back Eagles! The library has been waiting all summer for you to return.
Let's get ready to read and create Eagles.
Our library turned into a mini-golf course, and students and parents had a blast navigating through obstacles made of books! Learning and fun go hand in hand. ⛳#readingisanadventure @Alief_Libraries
