ATTENTION @epaleezeldin @EPA Subject: Request to Discuss EPA Regulations Impacting Small Engine Repair Education. Dear Mr. Zeldin,I am writing to respectfully request your attention to the regulatory challenges faced by the small engine and outdoor power equipment industry, particularly as they relate to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) current policies. As an advocate for sustainable practices, I firmly believe that empowering consumers with the knowledge to repair and maintain their small engine equipment is one of the most effective ways to promote environmental stewardship. Proper maintenance and repair can significantly extend the lifespan of these machines, reducing waste and preventing premature disposal in landfills. Through my platform, I educate millions of viewers on small engine repair techniques, sharing practical tips to encourage self-sufficiency and sustainability. However, certain EPA regulations currently restrict my ability to demonstrate critical repair methods, as non-compliance could result in substantial fines, potentially in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. These restrictions limit the scope of educational content I can provide to my audience, hindering efforts to promote environmentally responsible practices. I respectfully request the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with you to explore potential revisions to these regulations. By addressing these challenges, we can better support consumers, small business owners, and educators like myself in fostering sustainable practices within the industry. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of discussing this matter further. Sincerely, Bre Chickanic
