Unbelievable feat of engineering bar none, must have been a nightmare to program the thrusters adaptive output control with the sensory input data at that speed to maintain that level of control @elonmusk , flipping over? Gotta be kidding me.
All that said, it’s hard to imagine the new Roadster will obtain public road permits in the full configuration, just imagine some Degens activating flight mode on an actual highway? I bet buying that car comes with a massive non-liabilities agreement to absolve @Tesla of any potential responsibility.

The single best predictor of whether a founder will make it is resilience.
I've been building companies for over a decade and most of them failed. But the founders who make it all share the same trait my mentor Travis Kalanick called "champion's heart."
Here are the 6 signals:
(1) A long track record of failure. They've shipped products that went nowhere and started companies that fell apart, and each failure imprinted a lesson no one else could teach them. Success barely teaches you anything. Failure rewires you.
(2) They get back up every time. When a launch flops or the internet hate piles up, they can find the one piece of criticism that's true, act on it, and ignore the rest. This is an unstoppable character trait.
(3) Built in flow, not for applause. Eventually they stop caring what the crowd thinks and start building purely because it feels right. The best ideas arrive once you let go of the outcome.
(4) Customer obsessed. They don't guess what people want and they're not emotionally tied to their creation. Power users are your light at the end of the tunnel.
(5) They turn their worst constraints into their edge. Any hurdle you face is a test to see if you're disciplined enough to overcome it. There's a solution to every problem.
(6) Building is their way of life. It was never about the cash grab, they fell in love with the journey itself, and revenue is their scoreboard.
Resilience is the one thing you can't fake or outsource.
Everything else is learnable.

This is the way, it should be obvious at this point for anyone having any proprietary IP that using the usual suspects like Codex, Claude etc. is a massive mistake. Two scenarios, one is the frontier models company just uses your IP to create a competing product or anyone out there building something potentially competitive gets output based on your IP.
As for individuals, you really want your entire life’s data being used in any way thinkable without you even knowing or your consent ? Edge AI consumer grade is the only way.

The end result for AI IMO is
1/ Highly specialized models for businesses where they own their IP and stack to drive unique outcomes
2/ On device inference for people using personalized narrow models for the masses, free inference
3/ God tier frontier models that own a percentage of their creations (tech, medicine, space travel)
