Back in 2017, @ESPNcricinfo ran a contest to find the #HyundaiCricJockey. I merely won a consolation prize for my efforts but my audio clip was uploaded onto YouTube by Cricinfo !!! Here is my 60 seconds of infamy - youtu.be/JymJrAbfwNY – at Bengaluru South, India
This single Test match is as good as an entire riveting series. The format currently has a halo around it #SAvAUS
South Africa needn't rue the chaotic runout of Rickelton. After having batted for nearly 3 sessions, a chance to put his feet up in the dressing room should do him a world of good. Remember, he is the designated WK and needs to keep on a wearing surface tomorrow #SAvAUS
With the lead going past 200, South Africa are now firmly in the driver's seat. The pair of Rickelton and Mulder will now aim to bat Australia out of the game. The home side have redeemed themselves admirably after the shoddy show with the bat in the 1st innings #SAvAUS
South Africa are building it brick-by-brick. There are no big contractors in their ranks but a host of humble masons are showing the power of combined might. Their resilience with the bat against one of the greatest bowling attacks in history could be series defining #SAvAUS
South Africa will not be too aggrieved since their damage in the session was limited to a wicket. Australia will not be too displeased as they didn't concede many. Even after 10 completed sessions, this Test match is no mood to drop any defintive hints. Tantalizing! #SAvAUS
Mitchell Starc is a Michelin Star chef among fast bowlers! He cooks the best of batsmen to an absolute nicety. That brute of a bouncer to Ackerman was a sizzler 🔥 #SAvAUS
A lead of 100 should provide psychological assurance to Australia. It will now boil down to whether South Africa have the stomach for a fight when they bat again. If they keep ruing the lost opportunity from the first innings, Australia will swat them away like a fly #SAvAUS
Despite bowling his 20th over of the innings, Rabada was still providing room for Alex Carey's cut shot today. This despite bowling around the wicket to the left-hander with the natural angle aimed into Carey's body. Sometimes even the best struggle to get things right! #SAvAUS
Every quick-fix and first-aid measure the Australians employed to address their batting woes has met with success during the ongoing Test. While luck might have played a role, it is also a testament to the quality of personnel who are comfortable being flexible #SAvAUS
South Africa can no longer control this Test on their own. In fact, they might need the blessings of a crumbling surface to beat Australia in the 4th innings #SAvAUS
As long as Renshaw and Green played by Bob Woolmer's coaching manual they were cruising. One airy indulgence by the former led to 2 quick wickets for the desperate South Africans. Now, with Jansen on song, the home side is beginning to smell blood #SAvAUS
Mark Nicholas dubbed the "Umpire's Call" of the DRS as an anomaly of the system. This is far from the truth and only reflects his lack of understanding of the system #SAvAUS
Cameron Green nearly fell for the short ball bait !
It was during the middle overs yesterday that the Australians lulled the South Africans to playing false shots against a bouncer barrage. As is now, there was not a great deal happening for the bowlers. Great opportunity for AUS to make SA pay for their mistakes #SAvAUS

Australia taking the new ball might result in an early end to the day's play. The light doesn't look good #SAvAUS
While Australia threw away the advantage of winning the toss by electing to bowl first, South Africa have squandered a great start with the bat by losing 4 wickets post lunch. The two best sides in Test Cricket have been a contrasting mix of extremes today #SAvAUS
Questions need to be asked of the greatest bowling quartet in contemporary #TestCricket. A champion bowling unit is not expected to fall victim to conditions but is expected to conquer them. The passage of time is taking its toll on Cummins, Starc, Hazlewood and Lyon #SAvAUS
Test matches in this series have varied start times - Durban (1 PM IST), Port Elizabeth (1:30 PM IST) and Cape Town (2PM IST). Apparently, all these places fall under the same time zone but have differing daylight hours - Durban (East), PE (Central) & Cape Town (West) #SAvAUS
