Thank you to @BBCBreakfast - a great piece on campaigning with a new @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer government. My focus was on @NaranMeera - an amazing advocate to #stoproaddeath and putting forward what 100 organisations led by @pacts are asking for in the 2024 Road Safety Manifesto. Just 4 actions!

Great to see @team_greenhalgh @GuyOpperman and PCC colleagues all supporting #ProjectEDWARD today in Parliament. Most road deaths are not ‘accidents’ but the result of bad choices and behaviours. Very proud to support our excellent teams in Surrey @SurreyRS and @SurreyRoadCops
Delighted to support #ProjectEdward today. We all need stock of the fact that too many die unnecessarily on our roads. #RoadSafety @DonnaJonesPCC @_Lisa_Townsend

The penalty for not wearing a seat belt is
inadequate. It is the only one of the Fatal Four
that carries no penalty points.
Today @BarrySheerman presented a Bill in the HoC that would make not wearing a seatbelt an endorsable offence.
