NC State enters the 2026–27 season with one of the most dominant interior forces in the country anchored by senior forward Khamil Pierre. Coming off a phenomenal junior campaign where she earned First-Team All-ACC honors, AP All-America Honorable Mention, and WBCA All-America Team finalist recognition, the Phoenix native proved to be a relentless double-double machine. Pierre started 31 of 32 games for the Wolfpack, averaging 16.7 points and a conference-leading 11.9 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 52.5% from the field. Her elite motor and rebounding dominance were on full display as she racked up 22 double-doubles—ranking third nationally—alongside standout performances like her 21-rebound explosion against Green Bay and a 19-point, 20-rebound masterclass against Oklahoma. Armed with Preseason All-ACC accolades and her exceptional ability to control the glass and score efficiently in the paint, Pierre is primed to anchor Wes Moore's squad as a premier focal point in the ACC and nationally. #PackMentality #ACCWBB #CollegeBasketball #WomenHoops #NCState
