Today, PBATS is supporting the fifth annual National Fentanyl Awareness Day, along with @MLB, @MLB_PR, @SongforCharlie, and the MLB Team Physicians Association.
70% of teen drug deaths involve fentanyl, yet 45% of teens are unaware that fentanyl is used to make counterfeit pills.
To spread awareness, tonight at Camden Yards the @Orioles will host a recognition of National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
Please visit songforcharlie.org and fentanylawarenessday.org to learn more about the fight against fentanyl.
As we approach Equal Pay Day, PBATS wants to highlight this awesome achievement from the @Orioles athletic training staff, as a pair of O's athletic training form an all-women staff for Spring Breakout.
"Now, just knowing that it’s becoming normalized, more women should be willing to get in it and wanting to get in it. There is space for them here, and they need to know that," Hunt said. "They need to take up space. Not just in athletic training, but in all fields -- coaching, strength and conditioning, everything."

🚨 We’re excited to introduce The Research Rundown — a new monthly series from the Inside Athletic Training Podcast designed to bridge the gap between baseball sports medicine research and real-world clinical practice.
In the inaugural episode, Paul Buchheit and Joe Rauch of the @Phillies are joined by Corey Tremble of the @Marlins for an in-depth discussion on emerging research examining the association between hand size and UCL reconstruction in professional baseball players.
The episode breaks down what the data actually shows, why it matters, and how athletic trainers can thoughtfully interpret and apply these findings within injury prevention, evaluation, and player care decisions.
