Automatic skeleton and skinning for any 3D model, from SIGGRAPH 25
UniRig predicts a skeleton and skinning weights for a 3D mesh so it is ready to animate.
It was built by Tsinghua University and Tripo.
One model handles humans, animals and unusual shapes. You run skeleton prediction, then skinning, then merge the result back into your file.
The authors now also point to SkinTokens, a successor that does both steps in one pass.

Higgsfield charges for swapping the person in a video. This one runs free on your own GPU.
Openjutsu: drop in a video and a photo of a character, press Generate, and the main person is replaced. The camera, cuts, motion and sound stay the same.
It can also:
→ change someone's hair or clothes
→ remove an object or paint a new one in
→ swap several people at once and pick who becomes who
→ relight the scene from one picture
It runs fully local through ComfyUI, on open models.

I made an app where you can drop any PDF and you get 3D instructions. Built with Opus 5.5 + Jig
Of course my first target is @IKEA so I turned their top 20 manuals into 3D. The prompt is just a PDF and "/assembly". That's it.
Either I get sued or we finally get the instructions we deserve.
