The City Boy Movement (CBM) leadership joined the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu (@officialspbo), the Minister of Tourism, Hajia Hannatu Musawa (@hanneymusawa), and other APC leaders and stakeholders for the Renewed Hope Walk in Calabar ahead of the APC-PCC mega rally scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026.
Among those present were the Deputy Director-General of CBM, Hon. Gambo Manzo; South-South Zonal Director, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong; South-South Zonal Coordinator, Contact and Mobilisation, Dr. Michael Nwoko; and National Director of Support Groups, Dr. Martha Agba and other national execitives of the movement.
The walk brought together party leaders, movement coordinators and supporters in a show of solidarity and political mobilisation ahead of the rally.

Today, we received the former Minister of Finance, Mr Wale Edun, on a courtesy visit to the City Boy Movement Headquarters.
During the visit, he commended our contributions to nation-building and encouraged us to sustain our efforts in promoting the policies and achievements of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He was received by our Patron, Barr. Seyi Tinubu, the DG, Hon Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, and other leaders of the Movement.
The visit was an encouraging moment for the team as we remain committed to informing, engaging and empowering Nigerians in support of national development.

The Deputy Director-General (DDG), Mobilization, led the CityBoy Movement's tour to Edo State on 27th October 2026, delivered by the Policy, Research and Strategy and Mobilization directorates.
The aim was to train and energize our structure, from the state down to the polling units. Our coordinators now have the skills and tools to mobilize, register and connect with supporters in every ward.
Edo is the first stop on the South South tour. Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River are next.
Thank you, Edo. The movement is getting stronger from the grassroots up.

The City Boy Movement’s (CBM) Deputy Director-General, Mobilisation, Hon. Gambo Manzo, @gambomanzo has led the CBM App team on a visit to Edo State to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and digital coordination, following the chapter’s registration of over 70,000 members, with another 4,000 awaiting upload.
During the visit, Manzo commended the state’s membership drive and called for ICT training for ward, local government and state executives to improve their effectiveness. The app team lead, Mustapha Adinoyi, explained that the platform’s five-level points system rewards member participation, including recruitment, while its digital tools are designed to support coordination.
Receiving the team, Edo State Director, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, announced plans to open new offices in Edo Central in the first week of November and Edo North the following week. He was also onboarded onto the CBM App to strengthen the state’s digital operations.
