Today, the Florida Children and Youth Cabinet met in Tallahassee to continue its collaborative efforts to support children and families across our state. Members heard from @fladjj about the Florida Scholars Academy, which expands academic pathways for students in residential commitment programs. Members also participated in a service project, filling backpacks with school supplies to help current and former foster youth start the new school year prepared for success. By working together, we can expand opportunities and help build brighter futures for Florida children and youth.

Happy Children’s Day! Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, supported, and encouraged to dream big. Today, we celebrate the joy, curiosity, imagination, and promise that children bring into our lives every day. Let’s continue working together to create a world where childhoods are preserved.
