A 16-member volunteer pediatric cardiac surgery mission from the USA and Palestine entered Gaza this afternoon to start treating children with congenital heart disease at the European Gaza Hospital. ❤️

This is Momen, who has cancer and was separated from his family for treatment in our department in Bethlehem last year. I was so happy to see him as one of our first patients next to his mom in our new #Gaza pediatric cancer department that opened today. 🇵🇸 ☮️
Thank you to everyone who made the opening of our Gaza Cancer Department so special - this is the very first children's cancer center in all of Gaza, and we look forward to bringing hope and healing to the children of Gaza.
