It's my last day today. Been out litter picking with other agencies and chatting to the locals in the Inkerman St area of #Bacup. It's great to see how much better the streets look after just an hour of cleaning.
We had a visitor today 😀 Has anyone noticed how a dog running into a room suddenly uplifts everyone's mood?
Disgusted to hear news of this when I came in the office this morning. Hoping that their injuries are not long lasting.

As many of you will be aware, we have a fast spreading wildfire just off New Line necessitating a multi agency response with specialist vehicles. Please keep away from the area while responders try to get the fire under control. #Bacup
A lesser known skill of mine which will be lost when I leave is being able to pick locks on lockers for officers who have left their key at home. I wonder how many journeys back home I've prevented #MoreThanJustCrime 😅
The sun sets on my last evening shift. My last shift is next week.

As officers get closer to their last tour of duty, colleagues start to place dibs on various kit they have. I feel like I'm being stripped for parts 😆

Great to be part of @LancashireFRS first live wildfire burn team deployment from @BacupFire to use fire as a tool to manage fire, created fire breaks and offensive burns to manage wildfire in Whitworth supported by other wildfire units /crews
We're resuming as we're no longer required at #Whitworth. Fire looks to be under well control by LFRS and GMFRS. Now onto another job in the queue awaiting deployment.
It's going to be one of those shifts. We're now heading out to assist with traffic control for @LancashireFRS as they deal with a grass fire. #Whitworth
Starting my last set of evenings weekend shifts. Working with a PC today. In the first 90 mins we've been to two emergency incidents in #Haslingden and #Rawtenstall and a concern for welfare in #Waterfoot.
I don't want to fine or inconvenience motorists but pedestrians cannot be put at risk. @LancsPolice are committed to reducing road casualties. This vehicle was recovered just before school closing time when children use this path to go home.

12:15 Report of disorder in #Bacup - co-ordinated response by local patrols resulted in the suspect being found and arrested by PC Law. This will no doubt prevent further calls later tonight which would tie up resources. #Rossendale
