Where does your data go while Copilot Cowork works? Files are processed in a temporary, isolated environment inside the Microsoft 365 service boundary, removed when the task ends. What you keep lands in a per-session OneDrive folder. I dug into what is and isn't documented.

Heads up for Microsoft 365 admins: starting October 25, users can upload advanced Copilot packages, meaning declarative agents with actions and MCP servers, unless you change the setting. (MC1472007) Defaults are decisions. If you haven't decided who should be able to deploy agents that take actions, this is the week to do it.

I recently wrote about why we need to treat models as insider risks, with security controls sitting outside the model itself. Today, we're putting that principle into practice by expanding Project Perception with new capabilities to help continuously assess agent risk, adapt permissions, and contain threats. blogs.microsoft.com/blog/202…

Introducing Microsoft-Decision-1, our new model for fast decision-making. It delivers top performance on structured decision tasks, outperforming both LLMs and other decision models in latency and quality. We’re already testing it across Microsoft for everything from incident response and quality control to scientific discovery.

🚨 SharePoint document generation just took a big leap forward. We've been able to populate Word documents from forms for years using Quick Parts and Power Automate templates. The new SharePoint document generation action does something much more powerful: conditional content. Imagine a travel request form: ✅ Domestic trip? The international travel section is hidden in the output document. ✅ International trip? Additional instructions, approvals, and requirements automatically appear. One Word template can dynamically adapt based on the user's answers. That's the difference between simply filling in fields and generating truly intelligent documents. I put together a blog post and video showing how it works and why I think this could replace a lot of the document generation solutions we've been building with Power Automate over the years. Link to my post and video 👇🏻 #SharePoint #Microsoft365 #PowerAutomate #M365 #DocumentAutomation #NoCode #Copilot #SharePointOnline
