Plano East Cross Country

Big thank you to @MendenhallHorns 2nd Grade for welcoming @PESHCC into your classrooms to interact with your amazing students. #EastSidePride

Congratulations to Grant Wilcox for signing his NLI to Oklahoma State this morning! You’ve meant the world to this program, your teammates, and we know you will accomplish great things in the future. Shoutout to @TXMileSplit for stopping by! @run4okstate @PESHsports

On the way to state XC with Grant Wilcox & Travis Jasper! Thanks to everyone who dame down for the sendoff!

Thanks to the amazing @PESHCC parents for hosting a team breakfast after our practice this morning!

Congratulations to @PESHCC SR Grant Wilcox (7th) and JR Travis Jasper (17th) on individually qualifying for state! Team was 10th with some big PR’s in great conditions. @PESHsports

Proud of @PESHCC boys for qualifying for regionals! We race at 11:30 AM tomorrow. All of these guys have been working hard since June to get to this point. We’re ready for Region 2! @PESHsports

Thanks to Ole Miss XC/T&F Coach @ryanvanhoy for stopping by and spending the morning with @PESHCC ! Great conditions for a tempo run on the grass this morning. Big improvements made from two weeks ago and great to see our packs coming together and pushing each other.

Shout out to our 2nd leg on the 4x200 Relay - Krystal Igbo (SR) ! She finished 3rd in the 100H at Region 2 (14.16) and helped us qualify for state in the 4x200 in her 5th race of the meet. Krystal is our 2019 MVP but she has been invaluable to our program on and off the track!

It’s race day for Plano East girls 4x200 Relay! Our first leg tonight will be Taylor Walton (JR) ! Taylor was our 2018 MVP and has done a great job starting off both 4x2/4x1 relays and getting us into the race. We’ve had a great week of practice and she’s ready to roll tonight!

Less than 36 hours away from our 4x200 Relay at State! Tiriah Kelley (FR) has been the anchor for both our 4x200 and 4x100 Relays this year! She is composed and has a killer instinct when she gets the stick! One of three former Armstrong MS athletes on our 4x200 relay!

Today we want to highlight our Co-Newcomers of the Year! First is Kaley Qualls (FR) who re-joined the 4x200 at regionals where broke our school record by over 2.5 seconds! Kaley's work ethic & competitiveness are 2nd to none. She has been a tremendous 3rd leg on both relays!

State week for 4x200! Savannah Adjetey (FR) showed up after basketball where she earned Co-MVP honors for JV team. She quickly found herself on varsity and was a medalist on our 4x100 at Jesuit! This weekend will be a great experience for her! @PESHsports @PlanoEastHoops

State Week for @PESHsports Girl's 4X200 Relay! Ibukun Alausa (SO) has been our Swiss Army knife and was very deserving of our 'Hardest Worker' award this year! Each of our relays would not have had the success they had this year without her consistency and hard work!

Congratulations to @PESHCC Junior Grant Wilcox for being named 2nd Team All-State!

Reading with @StinsonStars 2nd grade classes and our 3rd annual pop-up book fair with @PESHCC !
