UNHCR and partners are on ground ensuring that life-saving assistance reaches all affected, including those in the most remote villages.
More aid will be distributed over the next few days but greater international support is needed.
This morning UNHCR distributed urgently needed shelter materials + household supplies to some 2,400 people in Geyan District, Paktika Province displaced by Wednesday's earthquake.
Humanitarians are working in partnership around-the-clock to assess needs + deliver aid.
