Although we have experienced the worst weather in spring for 60 years we were able to find a rare warm day to assist with the ecological supervision required for this licenced bat project for both common pipistrelles and brown long-eared bats #bats #roofing #ecology

Today is #EarthDay PJC are aware of the #biodiversitycrisis and #climatecrisis facing our planet and are always looking at ways to reduce our ecological and climate footprint. Coincidentally, today we welcomed our second electric vehicle into our fleet! #gogreen #electricvehicle
Did you know that within the past 20 years #hedgehog have declined by 50% in many areas? Simply leaving some food and water out at night will give them a real head start as they emerge from hibernation. Check out @hedgehogsociety and @PTES to find out how you can help

As tomorrow is #worldfrogday 🐸 , and whilst we are still imprisoned in our homes, there is no better time to create a wildlife pond in your back garden. @froglifers provide excellent advice on how to create a wildlife pond... it's a 'ribbiting' read... froglife.org/wp-content/uplo…

Someone should tell this hibernating brown long-eared bat that spring has arrived... photo courtesy of our new class 2 licensed bat ecologist 🦇
Great news... this Highways England initiative will hopefully create wildflower highways for a wide variety of important wildlife species... theguardian.com/environment/…

Happy GIS day! We use QGIS for our GIS needs and are long past the days of the colouring pencils. We are able to create detailed and accurate survey maps. Professional and accurate management of spatial data has never been more important! #GISDay #ecology #QGIS #GIS #Maps
And it's as simple as that! 💡👏
