Let us pray and fast for Sean Hannityc so that he repents of his adultery, and returns to the Church.
Fox News stars Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity tied the knot on Saturday at the historic Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, returning to the place where Hannity proposed over Christmas in 2024. Surrounded by their children, relatives and closest friends, the couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that reflected their shared faith and the importance of family in their lives. Get the full details on Ainsley and Sean's wedding and the personal touches that made their big day memorable: foxnews.com/media/ainsley-eaโ€ฆ

Yesterday two high-profile media folks, one a divorced Catholic without an annulment, the other a Protestant, got married in a big public wedding attended by many even more well-known Catholic, church-going Catholic politicians. I 'm not here to judge, but that kind of marriage, from the Catholic perspective, places the union in the category of โ€œpublic and permanent adulteryโ€ as long as the first spouse lives (CCC 1650, 2384). Was it scandalous for Catholics to attend โ€”the risk of leading others to believe that such a marriage is licit or that the Churchโ€™s teaching on indissolubility and canonical form may be disregarded? That's for God to sort out, but it sure would be nice if one of those influential Catholics would have stayed home and instead used the opportunity as a great witness to the sanctity of marriage.

I know to many it may not appear this way, but I'm not spending my time on X this beautiful Sunday afternoon to win a debate. What I DO hope is that even one person walks away with a better understanding of Catholic teaching. FWIW, I was a 20 year drop-out Catholic. Thankfully, by the grace of God, I finally learned the faith (story too long as to how I came about them), of the "what and why's" of the Catholic Faith from Bishop Sheen's cassette tapes. Consider at least listening to the ones on marriage and the Eucharist. If you are anything like me, you will be shocked at what you will learn, especially on Marriage and the Eucharist/Mass. Do you even KNOW what the purpose of a Catholic marriage is? Let Bishop Sheen explain it to you-- best teacher ever, #'s 36 and 37. youtube.com/playlist?list=PLโ€ฆ

A few thoughts on the replies: Many are attacking the messenger rather than engaging the doctrine. That's understandableโ€”it's easier than wrestling with what the Church actually teaches. CCC 1650 and 2384 aren't my opinions or even the Church's invention. They're the Church's articulation of what Jesus Himself taught on the indissolubility of marriage (Mt 19:6, Mk 10:9, Lk 16:18). If that teaching is wrong, then argue against the teachingsโ€”and against Christโ€”not against me for citing it. Some say "mind your business." But when high-profile Catholics publicly celebrate a union that directly contradicts Christ's teaching on marriage, they've made it public business. Silence isn't neutrality; it's complicity in obscuring what our Lord taught. For the few Catholics who correctly understand the teaching, thanks for your witness here. Sadly you are too few and far between. Others point out (fairly) that the Church is inconsistentโ€”allowing pro-abortion Catholics Communion while enforcing marriage doctrine strictly. And you are correct, albeit it changes nothing about this discussion. Selective enforcement of doctrine is a scandal that weakens witness. That's a separate problem, but it doesn't change what the doctrine on marriage. One response revealed a catastrophic misunderstanding: "Confession makes everything hunky dory." No. Confession requires contrition and amendment of life. It's not a moral reset button that erases the need to obey Christ's teaching on marriage. To those upset by this post: I don't post for clicks. Every Catholic thing I share is hopefully in some way about the salvation of soulsโ€”because if we aren't living for that, we aren't living our Catholic faith. That's not my invention; it's the constant teaching of Christ throughout the Gospels. When Catholics treat Christ's doctrine on marriage as optional, souls are in jeopardy of being lost. That's not judgment. That's love. That's why I posted, and why I won't be silent. The teaching stands. The question is whether Catholics will live it, and/or, take the time to learn what (or why) Jesus actually taught what He did. We are blessed as Catholics to never have to "guess" what Jesus taught. Catholicism is a revealed faith -- and the fullness of it (not watered down to fit our lifestyle), is the Catholic Church. I pray all of you, sooner or later, and hopefully before it's too late, come to know and understand the Catholic Faith ,after your life and Catholic Baptism, as your greatest gift and and easiest path to the salvation of your souls.

โ€œMan is incapable of understanding himself fully without Christ. He cannot understand who he is, nor what his true dignity is, nor what his vocation is, nor what his final end is. He cannot understand any of this without Christ.โ€ โ€” Pope John Paul IIโ€™s homily at Victory Square in Warsaw on June 2, 1979

Feds busted a $1.6B fraud scam...just as I warned you: they traffic in addicts from all over the country to their "rehab" center in SoCal, where they receive no treatment, but they billed insurance for billions. @USAttyEssayli doing God's work.
Most of these scammers are making millions through Medicaid. Every body broker who smuggles in these out-of-state addicts (the majority of our homeless population) now has a social security number that unlocks INFINITE tax dollars for "treatment" expenses.

In the Great Divorce C.S.Lewis portrays heaven as more real, not less real than this realm. St Therese of Lisieux agrees when she writes, "In heaven every grain of dust will be a diamond."

Time will show that women's ordination was no more than a tasteless and shallow, sentimental fad. Feminism is already passe--out dated, vulgar and tacky. The Vicar of Dibley will be their legacy and Angela Dworkin their icon.

I'll always be eternally grateful to St. John Paul II. One thing โ€” I truly believed his intercession (too long to explain why here), held back a chastisement at a time in my life when I was mired in sin. For where I was at the start of my reversion, he was a gift from heaven for all that he taught me.

๐Ÿšจ BREAKING: President Trump just put a bounty on fraud, and every American can cash in. He announced the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program today. You report fraud at fraud.gov, and if it's real, you get paid. Trump's words: "If you find a billion dollars, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%." Find 10 billion, and that's 100 million in your pocket. California's answer was reportedly a law to shut down Nick Shirley. Trump's answer is to deputize the whole country. The fraudsters spent years robbing us blind. Now 330 million Americans are watching, and every one of them has a reason to turn them in.

BREAKING news and happily more detailed than I'd hoped for. The lower lobe of Pope Leo's right lung has been removed and tissue examination confirms adenocarcinoma (yes, cancer) as anticipated. No complications during surgery/recovery and he is now back in his room! Let us pray for his continued recovery: Lord, the one you love is in the midst of an ordeal...
Pope Leo XIV underwent thoracic surgery at Gemelli Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, as planned, according to a statement from Dr. Luigi Carbone and Professor Stefano Margaritora released by the Holy See Press Office. The surgeons removed the lower lobe of the Popeโ€™s right lung, and tissue examined during the operation confirmed the diagnosis of โ€œlung adenocarcinoma,โ€ as suspected from tests conducted beforehand. The Pope was in the operating room approximately three hours, while the operation itself lasted about 90 minutes. The doctors said it was successful and there were no complications. Pope Leo awoke normally after surgery and, following a brief period of observation, returned to his room on the hospitalโ€™s 10th floor, according to the statement.
