Big thanks to my teachers and coaches @mghecho for taking the time to train me on my four week rotation. We @MGHCVFellows are just trying to be an extension of them on nights and weekends!
Hats off to @PNPatelMD for crushing it on one of his first echo calls this weekend and uncovering this unexpected finding for a patient with an inferior STEMI! #cardiotwitter

Conclusions:
Splice-altering variants affecting non-canonical positions in TTN explain 2% of DCM and offer a 10-20% increase in the diagnostic power of TTN sequencing in this disease.
Trends in data suggest rules that may improve detection of similar variants in other genes.
First and foremost, endlessly grateful to Kricket, Jon, the Seidman Lab, our collaborators, and @SarnoffCardio.
But many others to thank, including @BrighamMedRes @MGHCVFellows @saptarsi_haldar @jonepstein1 @chaz_hong @tmmichelangelo @JenHoCardiology. It takes a village.
