I’ve been posting on X for years about the executive suite of gaming and the crash we’re seeing. I warned that gaming leadership isn’t creative, I warned that Wall Street and investor calls would ruin games. It’s all true. It’s all happened.
Want to fix it? Stop buying games from AAA companies, like right now. Support small, creative and independent studios. Vote with your wallet, the more power you give them the bigger the poison pill they become to our industry and art form.
This is what they planned, is why they went private. It’s going to be a blood bath. It will get worse. Even DICE isn’t safe.

Yeah this is bad. An unauthenticated remote-code-execution exploit for *any* PHP version out there, with simple scripts. You need to patch ASAP.
Or even take stuff offline in the meantime. Looks like POCs are out there already.

Here are some ideas that have come up in my group chat this week for @WARDOGS. Let me know what you think on these, of course.
- HZ disabled/locked until 10-20 tickets
- Prestige system for gold or skins to self-downrank
- Counter-drill pulling
- Click to join team spam fixes (UI/UX)
- Disable crate selling, put an actual vendor stand up with caps/limits per round.
It's 5 days into a new season of @WARDOGS, people already have thermals and buying them for whole teams. GGs boys.
Here is an example of what 1 player can make, selling thermals + 50 cals at our FOB. This mechanic has to be snowballing progression curves @phantasyftw.
I had an idea @Brammflakes @phantasyftw for how to keep sweats a little less sweaty. Here is the idea, when a player hit WD 100 they have the chance to prestige for gold bars. Say 10-15 or something to “reset” themselves back to WD rank 1. Totally optional but incentivized. Thoughts?
