A meeting is set for 9am. People start arriving at 10:30 and laugh “Ghana time.”
You enter a government office and the person being paid to serve you behaves like you interrupted their wedding.
A trotro driver stops in the middle of the road to pick passengers and everybody behind him must understand.
Someone throws pure water rubber into the gutter, then complains when Accra floods.
A politician promises ten things, delivers two, and supporters say “But the previous government delivered one.”
We have created excuses for almost everything. Then we travel somewhere else, see people respecting time, rules and basic standards and say “Ei, these people are serious.” Smh

Ah massa your life doesn’t end because you’re in your 30s without a degree. Some people discover direction at 40, 50 or even later so stop measuring your journey against people who had different opportunities, support systems and timelines.
A survival mode job may pay the bills, but don’t let it become your identity. Learn something valuable. Build a skill people will pay for, speak well, network intentionally, be reliable and show up consistently.
Also, stop thinking success only comes through a university degree anka by now me two masters no me de te Luxembourg. The world has changed. There are people making a good living through trades, tech, sales, content creation, digital services, business and entrepreneurship without degrees.
Most importantly, don’t sit around waiting for motivation. Small daily action changes lives more than panic and self pity ever will.
You’re not behind in life. You’re just uncomfortable and tired. There’s a huuuuuuuge difference between the two.
What advice would you give to someone in their early 30s with no university degree and stuck in a survival mode job who feels time is running out for him/her? @thenanaaba please ma, I’ll need your advice on this 🙏🙏

With every bottle of Awake water you purchase, they donate 1 pesewa to Korle-Bu’s Cardiothoracic center. Since they started in 2016, their One4Life fund has supported 143 patients, mostly children, in receiving vital heart surgeries they could not afford.
They started by donating 75k every quarter to the Ghana Heart Foundation. They doubled up last year by increasing their donation to 150k every 3 months.
