My boyhood hero & a simply fantastic keeper for England & Derby. A master of his craft with a brilliant all-round game. A model of consistency with incredible longevity at the very highest level. A true goalkeeping legend 👏🙌. I will never forget how much I idolised him as a boy

On seeing this i immediately thought of the Land Registry OS1 official search. The good old priority period.
asked it how I looked. It said: I can't see you. But you sound ready. Seven a.m., I sat bolt upright already panicking. It said "seven, breathe — say the word and I'll move your eight o'clock." Moved it. In the kitchen: interview's at ten, you rehearsed on Tuesday, you were great, leave by nine fifteen and you're golden. It had taken notes on a rehearsal I'd half forgotten doing. On the walk in: ninth floor, ask for Maya, you met her once, she liked your podcast. Phone on silent — anything that comes in, I'll take notes. Came out. It just said: "Well?" They said yes. OS1. The voice in your corner. Who's the voice in yours? 👇 zencore.solutions

One of my favourite model cranes. A fully extended jib complete with fly & lattice jibs. When i worked at a Crane Hire Company. In between running the office. I used to ❤️ reading about the vertical reach of the jibs in metres and the corresponding maximum lift. Great fun.

This is spot on & so, so true. It really makes you cry 😢.
I got emotional watching this. It felt painfully familiar. Show this in schools. Give young people a chance to talk about the things they’re afraid to admit.

My Album of the Day is from 1999 and is a hidden gem from The Lightning Seeds. I can remember this being on posters at the Railway Station in Great Yarmouth on my commute to & from work. If Only being my favourite track.

This is absolutely brilliant 👏. Superb.
My 4yo asked me to name his crane truck, so I called it Frasier but no one laughed. My talents are wasted on these people.

I learnt last night that u can receive a 200 year supply of Pringles. Provided you agree to your ashes being put in a Pringles tin urn when you pass away. I think I'll pass. But I was thinking 🤔 how do they quantify 200 years worth of Pringles? Average annual consumption?

Album of the Day is this 2002 full on rock album from Sheryl Crow. Not a bad track on it & the live version of the title track with The Corrs is simply superb. One of her very best. Big sounding, melodic & memorable songs 🎵. Definitely best listened to loud 👌

Very, very true. Take one part away & your life as you know it today. Would simply not exist. Lucy in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader comes to mind.

Have just seen it and it was brilliant 👏. A charmingly sweet movie. Heartwarmingly funny & clever as well. Really enjoyable & a brilliant follow on from the TV series. So pleased about the scotch egg at the end. A 10 out of 10 from me. #BBCGhosts

Wasn't it something along the lines of..... the cleaner your hair actually was. The more chance you had, of actually having nits? Or have I completely imagined that? 😂
Remember this ... the nit nurse 🤣

My Mr Badger Quote of the Day is ..... 'I think you must be feverish Toad. Cause destruction it may, render us homeless it may, but will a steam traction engine eat anybody?' From the episode - The Monster of the Wild Wood.

Just now watching Clive Anderson on Sunday Brunch. Other than a greying of his hair. He doesn't look much different than he did back then on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Was it really back in the 80s & 90s.

Our history is full of tragedies like this. No single person or thing being solely responsible. Rather it was a collection of small events coinciding at precisely the wrong time to create a tragedy.
25 October 1854: "Into the valley of Death rode the six hundred" At Balaclava during the Crimean War, around 670 men of the British Light Brigade charged directly towards Russian guns after a disastrous misunderstanding of orders. They rode more than three-quarters of a mile under heavy fire. 118 men were killed, 127 wounded and around 60 taken prisoner. More than 300 horses were also killed. The doomed charge was immortalised by Tennyson in The Charge of the Light Brigade. Photo taken by Roger Fenton #OTD #History #VictorianHistory #CrimeanWar

My Description of the Day is from Mr Toad in Gadget Mad. The Aspirator air suction cleansing device. Otherwise known as the hoover, from the 1900s. Designed to remove the need of a parlour maid. Yet still needs to be operated by someone 😂.
