When the majestic eagle makes eye contact 😳
Bald eagles can be found across most of the country in the winter. Early in the year eagles are on the move with some traveling long distances to return to summer breeding grounds. Have you seen any lately?

Had a great day making hand dipped beeswax 🐝 candles. It was so satisfying seeing our work take shape 🕯️
Did you know that burning beeswax candles releases negative ions that bind to particles such as dust and pollen, neutralizing pollutants and creating a cleaner environment?
Throwback to December when we had a blast teaching the Hillsdale Daisy Troop all about bees, finding the queen, & practicing our waggle dance. What an impressive group! 🐝 #BuzzingWithEducation #njbeekeeping

HUGE thanks to Borislaw Bilash for his bee wrangling’ skills!
It was a beautiful day in the yard! We performed mite inspections on all 3 hives with stellar results, added queen excluders and a honey super on top. Spring has sprung 🌸🌼🌱

A break in the weather today gave us an opportunity to check our hives for the first time in a while. All 3 were queenright and building up brood (we even spotted 2 of our queens 👑) Vincent was a big help in the hive inspections and gave our girls some pollen & sugar patties.
The club had a great time this afternoon making hand rolled wax candles, poured beeswax candles, & customized beeswax lip balms 🕯️🐝 #beekeeping #beeswax #honeybees
The PV Bee Club welcomed master beekeeper John Gaut today to speak to our group about bee diseases 🐝 We learned a lot!
