Cryptocurrency kiosks can be found throughout the Commonwealth, and scammers prefer them as a method of payment because people are less familiar with them.
Last year, my Office’s Bureau of Consumer Protection received about 290 scam complaints involving crypto currency, and that’s why we want people to STOP when asked to use these devices.
Good things happen when we can be face to face with older Pennsylvanians to answer their questions.
Recently, our Office of Public Engagement was joined by Attorney General Sunday at a Senior Expo in Wayne County, where we got to talk to more than 230 people. Thanks to all who stopped by!
