Your a legend @ThijsTCG, were honored to have you!

Hey Bynx, great to meet you. I'm the founder of Koin Games, the studio building Origins. Like Kevin, I'm a big fan. I've been watching since the early days of Snap, back when you won the Conquerors broadcast. I want to start by saying I appreciate that you take the time to look up a company before deciding on working with them. Hopefully, after I clear a few things up, you might still be open to the idea of working with Origins. Here is a quick history on how Origins TCG started with blockchain and NFTs and ended up like Counter-Strike on the Steam marketplace. From day one we have had one simple dream: to bring the physical collecting experience from Pokémon, One Piece, and Riftbound into digital TCGs. There's something so special about being able to fill out your binder, trade with friends, and collect things that have real value, even if you never intend to sell them. As my wife always reminds me, "Why does it matter if the price goes up if you never sell anything?" 🙂 When we started this journey, it was at the very beginning of using blockchain and NFTs for games. There were a lot of messy things back then, but there was also so much hope that blockchain was the answer to true ownership in digital. So we started to build in that direction. We partnered with Immutable, and we announced (but never launched) Project O as a game that would use blockchain and NFT tech to give players true ownership. But as we kept building, the adoption we all expected never happened, the stigma with gamers kept growing, and ultimately we realized that if we wanted to reach our goal of true ownership in digital, we needed to look outside of blockchain. The obvious answer was to follow in the footsteps of the most successful digital collectible ecosystem of all time, Counter-Strike, and to build on Steam. Just to make sure it’s clear, we have zero blockchain in our game, and we never will. Origins is simply a really fun game that gives every player every card for free, and just like Counter-Strike, every item you can buy is limited, rare, and truly yours. We know not everyone cares, but we believe players deserve free and fair competition. We believe players deserve to own the items they choose to spend money on. I'll finish by saying that while it hasn't been the smoothest path from where we started to where we are now, I'm very proud of the journey we've been on. Most of my favorite products and companies, like Apple, Fortnite, and Tesla, made some massive mistakes along the way to finding something great, and I believe that's what's happening with Origins. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you're open to it, I would love to jump on a call and chat. My DMs are open.

I was wrong…… 🤦 I spoke to @OrdinaryHarry (absolute Legend) after the match and it turns out he’s not from America; he’s actually from Cyprus! So in reality America never stood a chance in today’s finals 😂 And again congrats to the Italians for dominating the 1st ever global Origins tournament! And a special shoutout to the one and only @CoachCrono for pulling out the game 5 win over @SouLWhoWanders. Both of you are amazing competitors! I may or may not post the video later of @CoachCrono celebration dance after his game 5 victory! Let me just say, Italian streamers are never boring….. 😂

Wow, what a day! We had some epic wins and a few painful lessons….. 256 incredibly talented competitors battled it out for prizes and pride in the @origins_tcg 1st ever global tournament! Today's Wins: - New Record in concurrent players: 593 - New Record in concurrent viewers: 5,000+ - New Record in concurrent streamers: 61 Our Learnings: 1. We need a better bot: it broke at the beginning of the day, slowing everything down for the 1st few hours. 2. Today went too long: We need to either adjust the format or how we split between the playoffs and the finals. 3. We have an incredible team and community: who, despite today's challenges, stayed engaged and kept the excitement high throughout the whole day! If you competed or watched today, what's 1 thing we should change? Today may not have been perfect, but it was pretty awesome and it gives a very strong signal that we are at the beginning of something truly incredible! Thanks to everyone who made today awesome! Alright, it's time for some sleep…. Tomorrow we crown the 1st true @origins_tcg champion! Join us at 10am ET on X or Twitch! Night night, everyone!

better........it will feel better than 20K

Sunday we make history! Over the last 5 days, over 2,000 skilled competitors have battled it out through 5 qualifier rounds to reach the @origins_tcg Crimson Cup Playoffs! Tomorrow begins with hundreds of the best competitors from the last 5 days and ends with only 4! Sunday is the day the 1st @origins_tcg champion is born! Sunday is also the day we make competition and collecting history, as the winner of the Crimson Cup walks away with the 1st digital 1/1 tournament card that they actually own! Keep it as a trophy, sell it to the highest bidder, gift it to a certain CEO who loves to collect ….. the choice is theirs! And IMO that's pretty freakin epic! Who's competing tomorrow, and who's your favorite to win it all?

Honestly, life has been pretty surreal lately. I just watched one of my favorite creators from the year I tried to get good at SNAP, @snapjudgecast, share his thoughts on our game @origins_tcg (link below 👇, 1st min is pretty great!) If you played @origins_tcg for the 1st time this week I would love to know your honest thoughts….

I've been waiting for today for over 4 years and I NEED YOUR HELP! Over 4 yrs ago I left my career and launched out with the dream of building the next great competitive game with real collecting! And today is the day that the dream starts to become real! But as with any great dream, it can't be accomplished alone, so I'm here to ask for your help… The latest @origins_tcg demo just went LIVE during #SteamNextFest and every small activity helps….. 1. Play the demo (Monday and Tuesday matter the most) 2. Refer a Friend (and you both get a FREE collector pack) 3. Stream the game (pack bounties in discord) 4. And share this post or tag your favorite gamer or collector. And honestly, pray for us as we take on the giants and change competitive gaming and digital collecting forever! Links below 👇

It's time to VOTE….. In just over a week @origins_tcg will do something never done before. We are launching the 1st limited print run of digital sealed booster boxes and digitally graded cards on @Kickstarter (link in comments) •Build your collection •Flex them in battle •Trade with friends •Sell on Steam More on this later For now need your help to decide the final "Kickstarter Exclusive" promo, between these two cards by Daniel Alberti. Van Helsing or Rapunzel, vote in the comments.

Nothing stops the ladder grind and getting in a bit of practice for the Crimson Cup! This Mulan deck has been my jam for the last few hours. Thanks @GWFlashX for the recommendation. Who’s practicing today? What’s your favorite deck right now?

Oh, were sticking it!
