And yall complain about not having 1st round picks.
Packers’ Evan Williams is PFF’s highest-graded safety in the NFL through seven weeks (90.2). He is the highest-graded player in the entire 2024 Draft Class. The only players aged 25 or below graded higher than Williams are JSN, Bijan and Will Anderson.

None. The rookie is talented. Rookies have growing pains at every position. Smack settles down and becomes the guy everyone wants the kicker to be.

Idk if I agree yall should’ve blown us out, but the Packers made too many mistakes to win. Simple as that. - MLF’s terrible clock management strikes again. - Going for it instead of taking points. - Atrocious play calling when you get the ball in Lions territory with less than 5 minutes less, coming away with zero points AND leaving enough time for the Lions to go down and win. MLF stinks at managing the game. - Losing two centers to injury made everything worse. All of that and it was still a 3-point game that the Packers had real opportunities to win.

Training camp feels like one giant lie.
MarShawn Lloyd is averaging 2.6 yards per carry (last among 42 qualified RBs) and is last among NFL RBs in Rushing Yards Over Expected (-78). 16 targets for 70 yards (4.4/target) in the passing game 3 drops 38.9 pass block grade at PFF

1) The Packers didn't take advantage of the opportunities they had to win. 2) The Lions are just as tough as they've ever been. 3) The officiating in the NFL right now is beyond outrageous and every fan should be demanding better. Being mad about the officiating is not the same as blaming officiating for a loss. The Packers lost to the better team in a great game (minus the officiating). See you in the regular season finale for all the marbles. 🤝

Two things can be true. 1) The Packers lost because they didn't take advantage of very real opportunities to win. 2) The officiating is beyond outrageous. You can dunk on the Packers because it's fun now, but no one is going to hear you when the bad officiating comes for your team.

This is the step that actually might get the @nfl to admit they need to address the problem.
If we're going to get flagged for breathing on the QB, we might as well make it worth it and suplex him to the ground.

The Packers lost because they didn’t take advantage of the opportunities they had to win. That said, if you’re ok with outrageously bad officiating because it’s going against another team, you better save those tears when that bad officiating comes back for your team. It’s happening to every team right now and we should all demand better from @NFLOfficiating @nflcommish @nfl

Not hearing anything from Vikings fans about the refs.
What you are feeling is real weezy The Packers rank last in penalty "luck" through 7 weeks. Mostly due to defensive holding and roughing the passer calls on the defense

The Packers lost that game yesterday because they didn't capitalize on the opportunities they had. Not because of the refs. That said, when the numbers start screaming like @nflrefstats1 has pointed out here, someone needs to call the problem out. @NFLOfficiating @nflcommish @NFL You are destroying the greatest game in the history of sports. Helluva legacy.
Green Bay Packers 2026 penalty numbers, specifically on all-important THIRD DOWN plays & in the FOURTH QTR of games The #Packers lead the #NFL in 4TH qtr penalty per game avg, recording historically high numbers in this category Compounding that, the @packers have off-the-charts numbers surrendering AUTOMATIC 1ST DOWNS via penalty on THIRD DOWN plays (& primarily in the 4th qtr) None of this is news to Green Bay players/coaches or fans Three games in particular this season (@Vikings @Lions & vs Cowboys) were beyond ridiculous w' officiating in the 4th qtr of those contests There are many numbers I can detail going back two decades but ill use 2021/2025 five-yr data as comparison to highlight the statistical improbablity of the 2026 stats Green Bay is surrendering 1.71 AUTOMATIC 1ST DOWNS per game on THIRD DOWN To put that in perspective, over the past 5 seasons the next highest avg in this category is the 2023 Titans (0.94 per game) & the 2021 #Bills at 0.89 per game GB is averaging almost DOUBLE per game of the next highest penalized team over past 5 seasons in this category In the FOURTH QTR, Green Bay is surrendering 1.29 AUTOMATIC 1ST DOWNS via penalty in 2026 The next closest to that the past five seasons is the 2024 Commanders at 0.90 per 4th qtr The bulk of Packers ROUGHING THE PASSER & UNNECESSARY ROUGHNESS & ILLEGAL CONTACT penalties have occurred in the 4th qtr (see clip #GBvsMIN Week 1 w' Shawn Hochuli) For the record im not a Packers fan, just someone that studies data But I watch every game & the officiating in some GB contests this season has been diabolical late The general response is "just play better" so a bad call or calls have no impact on the final outcome That sounds great & im sure every team would love to be ahead 50-0 in the 4th so an atrocious UNNECESSARY ROUGHNESS penalty has zero impact But the fact is most games come down to the final 10 mins & if you're on the wrong end of bad calls in the 4th qtr & particularly on 3rd down, its near impossible to overcome Its up to Matt LaFleur & Packers hierarchy to inform @NFLOfficiating & start calling out the one-sided numbers The positive would be these numbers can't continue indefinitely & GB does have 6 more games at Lambeau Field, where they historically have received better treatment #GoPackGo

"We ruled the play was over." But if Wyatt lets St. Brown go, and he scores, when they review it and rule he indeed wasn't down, the score stands. "Football players playing football. The defense wouldn't let the offense score. 15 yard penalty and automatic first down." This crew should never be allowed to officiate a football game at any level ever again.
Pool report from Lions-Packers on Wyatt unnecessary roughness and the intentional grounding call early in 4Q

We're getting to the point where the burden of proof is on them to prove they aren't. Because their actions suggest otherwise.
Are the officials betting on these games?

Investigate the crew.
FOX National Game of the Week and unfortunately more than a few controversial and questionable calls involved in it. Kind of rare to hear the rules analyst on the broadcast openly disagree with several rulings and adjudications, but to his credit, Dean Blandino did. Just was not an NFL Caliber Officiating Performance in my opinion. This crew has consistently been underwhelming in my opinion.

Unpopular take: Smack can be the long term answer at kicker, but you gotta ride through some tough rookie moments to get to the good times.
