Junior Caminero is a disgrace to the game of baseball. Imagine someone on the Yankees acting like this in a big playoff game. Imagine playing in the same division as Derek Jeter and acting this classless. There's an argument that the Rays should bench Caminero. This isn't how you act.

Survey fans on cheaper tickets, $5 beers, free parking, no blackouts, every game on one affordable streaming service, no jersey ads and fewer commercials. Funny how fan opinion suddenly matters when it aligns with the owners’ financial interests. These guys aren’t prepared to sacrifice billions in revenue and risk a work stoppage out of concern for competitive balance. They do not give a shit about competitive balance. Owners want a cap because they believe it benefits them financially. Full stop. The fan surveys are just a convenient way to sell it. Trying to convince fans that billionaire owners suddenly care about them is insulting.

Before I announce anything new, I gotta speak on something I never really addressed. When my time with Rise ended in 2023, I kinda just went dark. No real explanation, no goodbye to the people who supported us. I lost touch with a lot of y’all, and looking back, I wish I handled that differently. I spent almost 10 years of my life building Rise. That shit meant a lot to me. Losing it was hard, and honestly, I didn’t really know what to say or how to talk about it. So I just didn’t. And if you’ve noticed the Rise page is now an MMA news page, the account was recently hacked and stolen. That change has nothing to do with me or Rise. Seeing that happen to a page we spent years building hurt too. But I never want my silence to make anybody think I forgot what we built or the people who helped us get there. If you ever wore our merch, watched our teams, came to an event, worked with us, or just showed us love, I appreciate you. We got to do some crazy shit together, and I’ll always be proud of that. I miss a lot of the people more than anything. If we haven’t talked in a minute, I hope you’ve been good. Just because that chapter ended doesn’t mean the love went anywhere. It’s been three years, and I’m ready to put that energy into building something again. Music, gaming, content, all the things I love, with a community we can grow together. I’ll share more on that soon. I just needed to give Rise and everybody who was part of it the acknowledgment they deserve. 🖤 Reem
