I've been using an iPhone Duo for about a week.
An incoming question that I've been getting over that span: So, what do I think?
I think the reviewers botched this one.
Most of my iPhone Duo impressions aren't even close to what was said and depicted in many of the reviews. There is no learning curve found with the iPhone Duo. It's not some awkward mess that needs a lot of figuring out. App optimizations are flowing in. The outer display isn't some half-assed attempt to make do with a crummy situation.

We're in the early stages of a multi year Mac super cycle.
This morning, $AAPL announced some Mac updates, including 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac models (M6 chips). Still waiting on the first touchscreen Mac announcement later this morning.
Pricing is unchanged today. Keep in mind that late in June they raised the price of the MacBook by 18% and the iMac by 16%.
My take: There is upside to the Mac over the next two years. Mac has gone from 8.6% of revenue in June 2025 to 9.5% in June 2026. Last quarter it grew 29%. The Street is expecting 12% y/y in Sep ’26, going to 6% growth in FY27 and FY28.
Most important: I believe we are in the early stages of a multi-year AI-powered hardware upgrade cycle. Consumers and businesses will need to buy new hardware, even at higher prices, to fully leverage AI. That’s good for Mac growth. I expect FY27 Mac to grow above 10% (Street at 6%) and FY28 above 10% (Street at 6%).

Matthew Perry made $1 million an episode on Friends and spent about $9 million trying to get sober. In his last month, a doctor charged him $57,000 for 20 vials of ketamine that sold for about $15 each.
In the video below, a year before he died, he describes the night doctors gave him a 2% chance to live.
"Five people had an ECMO machine that night, and the other four died, and I survived."
On September 30, 2023, the doctor met Perry for the first time. That day he texted a colleague: "I wonder how much this moron will pay." Then: "Let's find out."
Same day, he bought $795 worth of ketamine and supplies from another doctor. Perry's assistant paid him $4,500.
Over the next 12 days: 20 vials, $57,000. One shot was given in the back seat of Perry's car in a parking lot.
That's about $2,850 a vial. Roughly 190 times the going price.
Then the assistant found a cheaper source. He was paid $150,000 a year to manage Perry's medical care. In 11 days he bought 51 vials from a dealer prosecutors called the "Ketamine Queen."
On October 27, the doctor texted that he'd been "stocking up." The next day, the assistant gave Perry at least three shots. Perry was found dead. He was 54.
Then came the sentences.
The dealer: 15 years. The assistant: 41 months. The doctor who called him a moron: 30 months and a $5,600 fine. The doctor who supplied him: 8 months of home detention.
Netflix releases a documentary about Perry's life on Tuesday. Wednesday marks three years since he died.
The doctor made $57,000 and was fined $5,600. Was 30 months enough?

Le jeudi 24 octobre, à l'ouverture, les cours plongent d'environ 11 %.
Les ordres de vente affluent. Les téléscripteurs, qui impriment les cours, prennent des heures de retard.
Plus personne ne sait ce que valent ses actions.
Ce jour-là, 12,9 millions d'actions changent de mains. Près de trois fois une journée normale.
Les plus grands banquiers de New York se réunissent en urgence chez J.P. Morgan.
Vers 13h30, leur envoyé, Richard Whitney, entre dans la salle des marchés.
Il offre 205 dollars par action pour 25 000 actions de U.S. Steel, bien au-dessus du cours.
Il recommence sur une dizaine d'autres valeurs. La panique retombe.
Le soir, l'indice ne perd que 2 %.
Le lundi 28 octobre, les banquiers n'interviennent pas. L'indice chute de 13 %.
Le mardi 29, encore 12 %. Plus de 16 millions d'actions sont échangées.
La chute dure près de trois ans. En juillet 1932, le Dow Jones tombe à 41 points : 89 % de perte.
Il lui faudra plus de 25 ans pour retrouver son record de 1929.
Le jour qui a donné son nom au krach est celui où les banquiers ont cru l'avoir arrêté.
