LiteYield, an institutional yield infrastructure protocol built on @LitecoinVM. LiteYield transforms idle Litecoin liquidity into programmable onchain yield through automated smart contract vaults designed for the LitVM ecosystem. Users can deposit mLTC into the vault and receive yLTC, a yield bearing asset that represents their position inside the protocol. As strategies generate returns, the value of yLTC grows over time, allowing users to redeem more LTC later. The goal behind LiteYield is simple:
bring productive capital infrastructure to Litecoin in a way that feels accessible, transparent, and scalable. The protocol already includes:
• Wallet integration
• Automated vault accounting
• Yield bearing shares
• Deposit and withdrawal flows
• Built in liquidity buffer logic
• Faucet support for testing
• One click token imports
• Fully deployed frontend LiteYield is only the beginning. The long term vision is to build a foundational yield layer for the Litecoin ecosystem powered by programmable finance on LitVM. Live now:

This is Pauline Lumumba, the woman who watched them kill her husband and then walked half-naked in protest. You may not have seen the photo, but it shows a Congolese woman, bare-chested, with her hair shaved, walking in the street crying, with a child tied on her back. That woman is Pauline Opangu Lumumba, the wife of Patrice Lumumba, in 1961. Patrice was only 35 years old and had been Prime Minister of Congo for just 67 days. His crime was that he declared, "Congo is not Belgium's property. Our gold, our copper, and our diamonds will feed our children." Because of those words, Belgium, America, and his own army chief, Mobutu, decided that he must die. On January 17, 1961, they took Patrice, together with Maurice Mpolo and Joseph Okito, to Katanga. Pauline recounts what happened to him in harrowing detail. She said they beat him for hours, pulled out his teeth, and forced him to eat his own speech papers. Then a Belgian officer, Gerard Soete, shot him. After that, they cut his body into pieces with a saw and poured acid over it to dissolve him, so that no grave would ever exist. There was no body, no grave, only acid. When they told Pauline, she did not scream. In Congolese tradition, she shaved her hair to mourn her husband. She removed her top to show the world, "You have stripped me of my husband. I have nothing left." Then she walked barefoot from Leopoldville to the place where they killed him, a journey of 1,000 km, with her baby on her back, singing his name all the way. Mobutu, who took part in killing her husband, went on to become President for 32 years with US support. Belgium kept Lumumba's gold tooth as a souvenir in a police station until 2020. Patrice Lumumba died because he wanted a united Africa, like Gaddafi. Pauline died in 2014, still waiting for his body to be buried, and she never remarried. That is the price of saying, "Africa for Africans." And you still think Africa's poverty is because we are lazy?

You must believe you are special. Then go so f*cking hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. Wage a daily war against the ordinary outcome until the belief you invented from nothing, alone in a room, has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a claim and becomes reality.

Happy birthday Litecoin!
Happy 15th birthday, Litecoin. To mark the moment, we’ve opened a public wall of crypto stories, from every chain, each one stamped with the year it happened. If you’re already on the wall, share your card. If you’re not, there’s still a seat at the table: read a few stories, then add yours. Proof of Time is live at proofoftime.litestrategy.com.

On Saturday at the @arc Uyo meetup, @BoluwatifeAmod decided to capture this conversation I was having with one of the architects @JoeAkpan28, about FX and Crypto trading and how @hibachi_xyz could be of benefit to his trading arsenal. Why jump between apps/brokers when you can trade both markets in one place onchain? The best of both worlds in one place! hibachi.xyz/r/RKOXF7IO34
Yesterday in Uyo, I had the opportunity to speak about @hibachi_xyz at the Uyo @arc meetup alongside @TheCharterr. We shared the problem Hibachi is solving in the FX market and how stablecoin-native infrastructure can make FX trading more accessible and efficient. Big thank you to @JerryOjumah and @TechyDom for giving us the stage to share what Hibachi is building. We’re still early, trade on Hibachi. NB: This is a video snippet

I traveled from Benin to Uyo for the meetup that held today alongside @BoluwatifeAmod to represent @hibachi_xyz, the first native onchain FX and Crypto DEX on @arc. You can get started within some minutes starting here: hibachi.xyz/r/RKOXF7IO34 Big shoutout to @TechyDom and @JerryOjumah for bringing the architects in Uyo together. I managed to fit the whole experience into this clip and I enjoyed every bit of it… doesn’t look like my first time creating this kind of content😅 #preachersofArc – at Uyo, Nigeria
Someone will be touching @arc-hitects soon!!!
