Don't undervalue your artwork.
It's obvious to see the commercial influence behind so many custom sneaker projects. Most of which probably barely scratch the surface of what the artists could be receiving.
Your artwork has a lot of value beyond a given dollar amount.
if I see one more brand this week that is supposed to be "for" sneaker customizers using pisspoor AI for their marketing images I'm gonna have to start making fun of them.

not nearly enough 3M. Also needs an "You okay?!" or something.

When the Houston Astros call and say Orbit needs fresh kicks for the Fourth of July... you get to work. 🇺🇸👟
If you're at the Astros game, be sure to check out Orbit rocking his custom Nard Got Sole kicks! 🤘🏾

I think if you're gonna paint an American flag custom sneaker and put the shadow lines as if the flag is waving the stripes cannot be completely straight.

This was the black with white sole pair? That mid panel addition is special.
Lightly scratching your painted shoe with an exacto knife is not the same as the possible abrasion your painted shoes will face when they are actually worn.

guessed the same thing when I saw that letter style and placement yesterday on these.
For a long time the majority of sneaker artists relied on one paint brand for their sneaker customization.
I think we've finally hit a point that there is now 4 to 5 solid options and even more if you count brands outside of America.
But we still need to know which is best!

Delete. Don't give them ideas!
I get why it doesn't happen much, sneakers aren't made in a couple months it takes a lot of time and projections.
But overall I agree they have room to do more for the small guys.

I think they've done it in some small manners but much smaller "undiscovered" creators could really be interesting.
Everything you said is so true.
Embrace AI with your custom sneaker ventures, go for it. Let your audience determine whether it's worthwhile or not.
But please do not go around claiming an AI image is an image of a custom sneaker you actually made when in fact you did not.

collecting sneakers is fun. wearing shoes is awesome. talking to ppl about sneakers is great. but the idea that your collection of material goods somehow makes you better than another person is weird behavior all around.
If I see one more god damn AI custom sneaker "rendering"
