Thanks for your patience—PaintZ v3.4 is now rolling out at PaintZ.app! As always, this new update adds highly requested tools and features, including the polygon and rounded rectangle tools, the last missing shape tools from MS Paint!
ALT PaintZ v3.4.
It's #ElectionDay! If you haven't already, remember to go #VOTE!!
(And then take some time to rest before we get back to the work—it's been a stressful one! Maybe chill with a low-stress drawing app and paint some happy little trees 😊)
ALT A PaintZ drawing has a bright green square like the Brat album cover, except a text box on it says, vote.
An issue in Chrome 119 (and browsers based on it, such as Edge 119) that sometimes suddenly erases your drawing while using the selection tool. If you are encountering this issue, you can use the PaintZ Beta version at beta.paintz.app for a temporary workaround.

Using paintzapp to create art in the style of Piet Mondrian in computing today. Great work Year Two Silver Birch! 🎨🎨🎨
(Not affiliated with PaintZ; just another fantastic web-based drawing app!)
The first version of Vectorpea.com has been released! Let's create the best vector editor together! :)

Thank you to the donors who hit this goal so I can at least break even keeping everything online!
I would love any further support—app developers need to eat too, and I also hope to be able to get a new test iPhone in the next year or two so I can stop borrowing my friend's 😅
Ko-fi is doing another #KofiChallenge this month to help creators reach their goals. Keeping my projects like PaintZ online and purchasing new test devices is funded by donations so PaintZ can remain ad-free and privacy-conscious. Please consider:

Regardless, it means a lot that enough people donate to cover the cost of keeping these online. My goal with PaintZ (& @ChromeVoice et al.) was always to provide people tools they needed regardless of the cost to me, but that isn't always easy, so I really appreciate the support!

Happy—or not so happy—#Pride. Let's push for change during #PrideMonth so we can fill tool this map some less ominous colors! 💪😤🏳️🌈

ALT A map of the U S is open in PaintZ. States are filled in with colors to indicate anti-trans legislation risk categories, safest states with protections, low risk within 2 years, moderate risk within 2 years, high risk within 2 years, worst active anti-trans laws, and do not travel. The fill tool is selected.

This week in computing - Tulips created some digital sunflower 🌻 paintings using @PaintZApp
We then recreated the sunflowers using cotton buds and paint whilst exploring pointillism in the style of Georges Seurat.🌻🌻🌻

We were inspired by the artist Kandinsky in ICT today and created our art using the laptops and the Paintz app!

We had so much fun in our art today looking at exploring the paintz app. We used the straight line and square tools to create a house and looked at the paintbrush tool to create a self portrait.
It's the last night of #Chanukah *and* #Christmas, but whatever you celebrate (and whatever device you draw on), happy holidays from PaintZ!
ALT 12 devices have PaintZ open. A Christmas tree is drawn on a Chromebook. 9 candles flames are drawn across a Wii U GamePad, a Huawei phone, an LG phone, a BlackBerry, an iPhone, a Samsung phone, an Alcatel Windows phone, and a Nintendo Switch. The Xbox browser on the TV has a drawing that says, Happy Holidays! A Microsoft tablet has handwritten, From PaintZ.
Happy #BlackFriday! I know this has traditionally been the release date for new versions of PaintZ. Unfortunately, v3.4 is going to be a bit longer in the oven, so you can preview it now at beta.paintz.app, and then it will roll out fully the day after Christmas!
