Beaconhouse Students Visit Pakistan’s Embassy in Tokyo Welcoming students and teachers from the BeaconHouse School System to the Embassy in Tokyo, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan encouraged them to observe how education, innovation, discipline and teamwork contribute to the country’s achievements and consider how those examples might inform Pakistan’s progress. Japan’s economic and technological strengths, he suggested, are rooted in a broader culture of education, innovation, discipline and teamwork. These qualities are not merely abstract virtues; they are reflected in the country’s schools, workplaces and public institutions. The visit also highlighted the role of young people in sustaining Pakistan–Japan friendship. Educational cooperation and cultural exchanges can build familiarity and understanding across generations. As part of the Embassy’s outreach to Japan’s regions, Ambassador Abdul Hameed visited Hokkaido’s Hidaka region on 8 October 2026 to strengthen local ties and explore opportunities for cooperation. During his visit, he met Mr. Yuji Kobayashi, member of the Hokkaido Prefectural Assembly and engaged with Mayor of Biratori Town. The Ambassador also visited Niikappu, where he met Mayor Yamamoto, mayors of neighbouring municipalities, community leaders and business executives. Pakistan Showcases Medical and Surgical Instruments at Medical Japan 2026 A total of 19 Pakistani companies participated in Medical Japan 2026, held in Tokyo from 7–9 October. Of these, 10 companies exhibited under the TDAP Pakistan Pavilion, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo, while nine additional companies participated independently. Pakistani exhibitors showcased a diverse range of medical and surgical instruments, including ENT instruments, dental and orthopedic instruments, general surgery tools, precision instruments and hand-held surgical instruments. The exhibition provided a platform for Pakistani manufacturers to engage with Japanese importers, distributors and healthcare industry professionals, introduce their products and explore business partnerships in Japan’s medical devices market.
