From the perspective of evolutionary biology people can't help themselves, there is a strong need to procreate but besides that I don't get it really. Bringing a kid here doesn't seem worth it tbh.

This is generally how human beings are wired. I doubt he also checks up on his friends who are currently struggling and off the radar. People serve their own interests and needs above anyone else. The acceptance of this reality brings its own peace and serenity.

SARS takes up to 45% of what we earn, then we pay 15% VAT on almost everything we buy. Inflation eats whatever we manage to save, municipal rates & levies come for the property we already own, and fuel levies are waiting every time we fill up. At this point South Africans aren’t citizens, we’re shareholders with no dividends

And R30k is supposed to do that, the problem is we are getting double taxed. Government schools aren't great, so you go to private. Infrastructure to our homes isn't great so you have to get solar & a water tank. If we had a competent government, R30k would be more than enough. – at Sandton, South Africa
Yes, those photos you’ve seen are real.
More than 18 years ago, a baby named Lamine Yamal and his mom Sheila met Lionel Messi at a UNICEF fundraising photoshoot.
Today, their achievements on the pitch inspire millions. Off the pitch, both Messi and Lamine Yamal use their voices and platforms as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors to support and advocate for children around the world.
The goal? That every child survives, thrives, and fulfils their potential.
We are proud to have them on our team.

Everyone is so calculating all the time. You don’t want to show interest (even though you are?), you can’t be excited or optimistic, you can’t express how you feel, you can’t suggest anything, you can’t just BE? OMG I need everyone to get over themselves and LIVE 😭😭
