Muslims take part in festivals like Chhath or Onam because these are pre-vedic festivals.
Nature is worshipped in these festivals, there's no murti or hawan in these.
They believe it's not against Islam as they're not doing idoltory.
That's not secularism, thats selectivism.
#WATCH | Delhi | On Uniform Civil Code, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, Justice Sanjay Karol says, "If you want to see secularism and Article 44 in practice, you must visit Bihar, where people from different communities and religions come together to worship during Chhath Puja... When it comes to Article 44, my view, it is the need of the hour..."

No stray dogs or cows in sight, no broken roads, no garbage, and no dust on the roadside. Welcome to the rise of private cities in India.
Our municipalities are parasites, and people are finally realising it.
Everyday somewhere in Vishwaguru, lives are lost in property disputes.
The unprecedented rise in real estate prices, fuled by whole lot of black money has made everyone greedy.
Greed is one of the biggest sin in every religion, yet our Virat Hindu Samarat is unable to stop it.
Guwahati Hotel Firing Case: 6-year-old daughter of deceased Debarshi & Rinika breaks down as she sees her father and mother’s dead bodies.
She and her younger brother, who is just 1.5-year-old are orphaned after Ghanakanta Gogoi shot their parents, grandmother, uncle dead over property-related dispute.
No children should go through such painful experiences in life. Who will look after them now?
Ghanakanta didn’t just kill people, he ruined lives and families.

Neha’s speeches recycle familiar anti-BJP talking points: Adani-Ambani, inflation, unemployment.
For a PhD scholar, one expects deeper analysis and original thought. Her real strength is her command of Hindi, honed through theatre.
She's like ModiJi, skilled in Bhasanbaazi.

Islam is an Arab-origin religion, which is why Arabs retain a foundational place of pride and dignity within it. The Persians then resisted and Persianised Islam under native Persian Muslim rule after overthrowing Arab political control : they injected their high culture, elevated Persian language and literary forms into the core of Islamic high culture, and produced works such as Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, an epic that deliberately celebrates pre-Islamic Persian kings and heroes while registering clear resentment toward the Arab conquest that overthrew the Sasanian order. In doing so, they largely stripped Islam of its early Arab tribal particularism and made it a vehicle for a partial Persian cultural continuity. The Turks, for their part, supplied the imperial arm of Islam from the High Middle Ages onward and eventually converted the caliphate itself into a Turkish institution under the Ottomans.
Together these three groups (Arabs, Persians, and Turks) secured distinct and complementary roles as the theological, cultural, and imperial pillars of the Islamic world. Because the Islamisation of their lands was effectively complete, they faced little residual “pagan” stigma when they continued to take pride and transmit their pre-Islamic heritage. Iranian Muslims still read and teach the Shahnameh; Turkish Muslims still take pride in both Ottoman imperial achievement and their earlier Turkic traditions and origins; Arab Muslims continue to centre their own linguistic and genealogical heritage. Pre-Islamic culture could be domesticated without existential conflict.
Elsewhere the pattern was different. In India, Islam was introduced and expanded largely by military conquest rather than by organic, majority conversion under native Muslim polities. There was never a sustained, indigenous Indian Muslim dynasty that ruled in the subcontinent. More decisively, Hinduism’s continued demographic resistance and civilisational continuity meant that large-scale Islamisation never occurred. As a result, Indian Islam was never fully domesticated. It retained a pronounced anti-Indian edge (with important exceptions) that has historically preferred to celebrate foreign Turkish invaders and an imported Persianate high culture while remaining distant from, or actively hostile to, the native Hindu high culture of the land.
The contrast is concrete. How many Kashmiri Muslims read and treat Kalhana’s Rajatarangini (the classic chronicle of Kashmir’s pre-Islamic kings) as part of their own cultural inheritance, in the way Persianate Muslims treat the Shahnameh? How many Awadhi Muslims read Tulsidas’s Ramcharitmanas and regard it as a shared element of their regional heritage?. In other cases too, the answer remains largely negative: the preferred historical memory continues to centre figures such as Mahmud of Ghazni, Muhammad Ghori, Sikandar Shah, and/or the Mughals, while native pre-Islamic kings and traditions are treated as alien or irrelevant.
This is an honest and still unresolved tension. As long as large sections of Indian Muslim opinion continue to glorify foreign conquerors and an imported Persianate culture at the expense of the native high culture of the subcontinent, simply because that native culture is shared with Hindus, Islam in India will remain incompletely domesticated. The resulting friction with the Hindu majority is structural, not merely contingent on particular politicians or incidents. Lasting civic peace becomes realistic only when the dominant pattern shifts toward the model represented by figures such as A.P.J. Abdul Kalam: Muslims who treat the land’s deeper civilisational inheritance as their own rather than as the property of an adversary community. Until that domestication occurs on a broad scale, the cultural and historical gulf will continue the conflict.

We are getting there. Once the dust of a developing economy settles down and the AQI and PPI both improve, India will be the blue-eyed boy of human civilisation.
I hope we march towards a “Dune”-kind of interplanetary civilisation laden with Hindu/Vedic aesthetics then.🤞🏻🧿

In a literal sense, they believe the rock will grow a mouth and face to 'prophecy' someday (not joking)
Like a lot of [textbook] cults, Islam is a kind of cosmic accident of improvisation and 1 man's ambition
Muhammad had to appease pagan Arabs and "revelationed" his way into changing his rules to incorporate pagan traditions
With every new contradiction Muhammad corrected it with a new "revelation"
The only reason Islam still exists, is the sheer number of people born into it, as a culture
Centuries of mass-illiteracy made their ancestors very easy to con and because it is also a political system, all the usual corrupt incentives exist to keep it going

Modichods will now have to explain how VanDyke coming to India only to go back for 5 months holiday is a masterstroke 🤡🤡
For everyone who was claiming Matthew Aaron VanDyke would never return to India and that Indian authorities could do nothing about it, watch this.
He was granted permission to travel to the US for a month, with a clear direction to return and appear before the court.
He’s now back at Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court to face the proceedings.

Right now, a genocide against Christians, perpetrated by Muslims, is happening in Nigeria.
More than 3,000 members of Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo’s church have been killed. And he has already conducted over 200 mass burials for his congregation.
This year alone, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria than Gazans in 3 years of war. But no one seems to care, and the media remains silent.
