Welcome on my profile! About myself: I'm obsessed with understanding how organizations actually work.
Not the book-smart kind of stuff; but from an objective perspective where I see organizations as huge networks.
What most people say is a "problem" is at the top level actually the following:
A deviation of where you, the organisation, or the relationship between; are constrained to achieve a certain outcome.
You want something to happen, it's not there yet. And there are hurdles, or it's simply impossible given the limited resources you have available.
Unfortunately, most people don't really think or see the underlying systems that govern their behaviour, or how they're impacting their day-to-day.
Most of the time this shows up as someone thinking:
- "This doesn't make any sense"
- "Why the hell are we even doing this"
- "How should we even know that this is the right decision"
That's where my system starts.
For the past year and a half, I've been working on a system ( that is based on your situation, decision or problem )
Structures the different problems, and how they map together accordingly, or tells you whether they're independent based on the data available.
My main goal is to build and expand the software, to empower people make better decisions and regain agency and mental control in a world that's mostly stripping people from it.
That's complexity doing its thing. And it's ramping up faster then ever.
That's why the work I do matters.
No name of the system has been posted here, cause I'm going through a re-branding project.
Just saw an open role called “head of storytelling”
HOT TAKE:
This is the founder/ CEO their job
When you outsource your narrative you’re just a puppet in someone else’s
I used to make a pasta pesto or another simple dish for dinner.
Now I casually spin up a mushroom risotto with the hands tied to my back on a Monday evening.
Never give up on what you like
a dutch expert says the healthcare system is “bankrupt” and that we “forgot to look out after another.
Utter BS.
The healthcare system is bankrupt cause the agreements with insurers incentivise spending all money rather than determining what fits at what given time.
Ever wondered why videos of attractive people dancing capture your attention?
Our brains respond to movement, rhythm and attraction. None requires something to be meaningful.
We’ve built an economy around exploiting that distinction.
Attention is valuable. But to whom?
On one hand using ChatGPT Astra I feel like my usage disappears very fast.
On the other, I do get to build an entire module including happy and unhappy paths in 2 days.
Not counting the endless bug fixing and shortcuts taken 😏
For those whom work with complex technical systems and alAI that consumes a lot of tokens
If the structure repeatedly is the same, aliasing can save you a lot of tokens.
In fact, for Phaseplane it improved efficiency from 46 to 15 minutes, and data quality from 95,7 to 96,5%
Sometimes, when climbing a mountain, the top of the mountain is closer then you might expect.
The higher you go, the more fog and clouds hide it from you.
Phaseplane has gotten to the point where LLM speed has become the bottleneck. Diagnostics can take 5 to 10 minutes.
How am I gonna be solving this without losing its capabilities....
I absolutely love cooking fusion dishes.
Combining all cultures and flavours set you up for big surprises
If you genuinely believe all these creators are sharing their hacks and blueprints to get you rich
You’re making making huge mistakes.
Barely anyone made money off of that.
You’re the product without even knowing it.
Before you know it their next “offer” comes through
Here is a free life lesson for ya:
You can’t help people who don’t want to be helped.
sometimes stepping away to have them figure shit out themselves is the best you can do for them, and for yourself.
I love these little motivational quotes on my Garmin smartwatch when I wake up.
Had a rough night, slept horribly (Thaiboxing).
Feeling like shit.
And then my watch in the morning be like “Believe in yourself”
It’s crazy how much the modern world already lives digitally.
Yes we live our lives in the real world,
And our mobile phones and laptops give a good representation of that.
All under the flag of convenience
Let that sink in
A picture that someone took is actually more interesting than it appears at an initial glance.
It’s a small and static snapshot of the person that took the picture, and their visual perspective at that given time
A tiny piece of reality that has been eternalised until deletion
