Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) delivered on the ground in Purvanchal, leading intense protests with or without BJP support. Yogi Adityanath ran parallel governance via the Gorakhpur Math, proving the famous saying: "Sarkar Bhaiya ki ho ya Bua ki, Ye Math ki chitti hai kam ho hi jayaga."
Fadnavis rose from Ground Zero. Fadnavis slogged himself from RSS to ABVP including Ram Janmbhumi Karseva when Babri fell to Kashmir Lal Chowk Flag Hoisting. Block & Ward Level Politics to Mayor, MLA, Party Org, CM, LoP, DCM, Election Incharge
There is hardly any post DF has not gained experience in
Yogi on the other hand never ever worked on ground to achieve and gain any experience ever in politics or organization. He got everything directly gifted to him be it his MP seat from his Guru Mahant Avaidyanath Ji or MLA Seat in his own Gorakhpur LS Constituency or the CMship when there were many contenders in the fray. Even in Re-elections Yogi never had to work out hard bcoz His Seat is BJP Bastion and for CMship there were MotaBhai and his Men like Sunil Bansal.
Yogi never worked at ground or understood political games that's why SP like simple opposition can't be finished by him in 10 years while Fadnavis has decimated hard opponents in Maharashtra and continues to excel and governing Maharashtra despite all Challenges

#India–#Nepal | 5 November 2026
Diwali begins with the trial run of the Ayodhya–Janakpur Railway Service!
This is much more than a connectivity milestone. It is a meaningful step towards bringing two civilisational cities, deeply connected through the Ramayana, closer together.
More than two and a half years ago, I presented a case study at the grounds of the Ram Mandir in Janakpurdham during the Janakpur Literature Festival on how #Janakpur could leverage the growing flow of pilgrims and tourists to #Ayodhya and realise its own tourism potential. One of the key imperatives I highlighted was rail connectivity between these two historic cities on the Ramayana Circuit.
Some journeys connect destinations. Others reconnect civilisations.
Ever since, whenever I have had an opportunity to write or speak about India–Nepal relations, I have consistently appealed to both governments to expedite this connectivity initiative.
Today, seeing the trial run take place is particularly gratifying. It is not merely about connecting two destinations through railway infrastructure; it is about connecting shared heritage, facilitating pilgrimage and tourism, creating economic opportunities, and bringing people closer through a shared civilisational legacy.
In March 2024, we launched the first-ever tourist guide on Janakpurdham (NTB). I look forward to its revised edition, incorporating this new railway connectivity between the two historic cities.
A milestone for the Ramayana Circuit, and another meaningful bridge between India and Nepal.

BJP should appoint him National or State Spokperson asap. He is a very good orator and speaks in a very straight forward way or in Marathi we say "Rok-thok pane", this move may help, though he needs to be trained a lot, early days.

Funny how my old classmate suddenly becomes a US election expert when he didn't know the first thing about Indian politics. Trust me, if you can understand India's democratic complexity, any other global election is a breeze.
As they say never mess with the "Priest King" #Midterms2026
A strategic move that will heavily resonate with voters in the upcoming Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha elections.
#Nepal #Agnipath-#Agniveer
A commendable decision by Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh ji to recognise the contribution of Agniveers and empower them with a “Second Tour of Duty”. This forward-looking reform rewards service, creates opportunities and strengthens India’s defence preparedness.
It also offers an opportunity to build renewed momentum towards Gorkha recruitment from Nepal, upholding a historic legacy of valour, trust and friendship between our two countries.

A very good duo for thr saffron party, when Narendra Modi was the CM of Gujarat, Mathur was the state in-charge of Gujrat from BJP and there friendship dates even to Sangh days.

Moving away from the original format of the league and adding more teams to it, making to longer made an adverse impact in the long run, that couldn't be sustained.
🧵 *Pro-Kabaddi League*
The Pro-Kabaddi League (PKL) has been called off for 2026 and is now “likely” to be hosted in 2027.
Why? Because it couldn’t land a broadcast deal.
There’s quite a bit of irony here because the league first saw the light of the day back in 2014 only because a broadcaster had seen merit in the property.
Spurned by the engagement that Kabaddi as a sport received during the 2006 Asian Games, it was always seen as a potential property until about eight years later, when Mashaal Sports (run by Charu Sharma) decided to do something about it.
The idea was very simple. Charu wanted to see if a bit of cash infusion could help him kick off an idea around a potential kabaddi league. He approached his brother in law Anand Mahindra (the chairman at Mahindra & Mahindra) for guidance.
It was Anand Mahindra who first saw potential and decided to become an angel investor, promising Charu an initial funding of Ra 5 crore.
Armed with the cheque, Charu approached Star Sports — who had cash to spend at that point because Fox global was setting up the India business once again as part of a larger proposition (I’ll come to this later).
Star agreed to come in as a broadcaster in Year One (2014) but their boss Uday Shankar had already set his sights on something bigger. He saw that after IPL there was no other sports property on TV finding any bandwidth and thought kabaddi would be a great fit if modelled on the lines of a WWF and packaged as a contact sport.
To build the case, Star shared the data around the league’s TV numbers from the first season, which they said stood second only to the IPL at 40+ crore.
They had totally jazzed things up to the extent that kabaddi began to look like it had become the sporting version of “English babu, Desi meme” — point being … a rural, heartland sport being decked up like a bride for South Mumbai and South Delhi investors to feel good & yap about.
At least that’s the feeling I got every time I chatted with industry executives.
Nevertheless, all the jazz did make the industry sit up and take note and “enthused” by the response, Star decided to pick up a 74% stake in the league — which, then for all practical purposes — became their property.
In the following year, Star kept adding teams, value of the franchises went up, and the league attracted a Rs 300 crore sponsorship for a five year deal. Adani, Kotak, JSW Sports, Ronnie Screwwala, Bachchans, GMR Group — they were all part of the set up.
And then, in 2019, Star India became part of Fox’s global sale to Disney — a mammoth US$72 billion ‘Deal Of The Century’.
Fox’s own statement said the India business alone had accounted for 18% of the total value of the deal (which is the point I was making earlier).
And come to think of it — after cricket, kabaddi had been Star’s only big property in sports.
Once the sale happened and Disney came in, what happened? Cost cutting, of course (which is what Jio is doing now).
Disney burnt their fingers with cricket so badly that they too had to exit the India market (and I doubt Jio would’ve ever bothered with someone else’s blunder).
Now the question is — where did all of this go wrong?
Wasn’t Mashaal’s idea alone good enough? Wasn’t the simplicity of the sport good enough?
Was the sexing up of the property for prime time consumption at overvalued costs so necessary?
If excel sheets and powerpoint presentations alone have to be the barometers for success of a sport in this country then what’s the point? This madness around building a property for broadcast alone, and the idiocy around senseless valuation exercises need to stop immediately.
If you can’t build and play sport as a community exercise and use these cash infusions to build basic public infrastructure, what’s the point of these valuations that can crash at the click of some excel sheet command?
The next guy in this country planning another league and thinking of packaging it for TV needs to think about this.

Space sovereignty is national security
In my latest for @TheDailyPioneer, I argue that global partnerships must strengthen India’s capabilities, not create strategic dependencies. #ISRO must remain the bedrock; private enterprise, the force multiplier.
The door is ours, and so is the key.

#Opinion In my latest article for @TheDailyPioneer on #Nepal, I examine the country’s political evolution, the democratic legacy of the #NepaliCongress, and the public discourse around generational change in leadership.
Can generational change come at the cost of democratic memory?
A political party’s future is bigger than any leader or faction. The challenge is to renew democracy without erasing the history that shaped it and to question how digital narratives influence public perceptions of political accountability.
Virality is not constitutional legitimacy.

Namaste @ashajadeja ji
You have strongly supported PM Modi’s vision for India’s economic growth and nation-building. Having placed your trust in India’s institutions and generously contributed to building its capabilities (Rajeev Motwani Building at IITK), would you now doubt India’s judgement simply because an American entrepreneur’s commercial interests face scrutiny on national security and sovereignty?
Trusting India means trusting its sovereign institutions to put national interest first.
In my view, true nation-building is not about who can operate beyond a government’s control, but who contributes to building a nation’s enduring capabilities.
India welcomes innovation, but its institutions and national security are not negotiable.

India should welcome innovation and foreign investment but on India’s terms, under India’s laws, and with India’s national security protected.
Connectivity is an economic necessity.
Sovereign control of critical communications infrastructure is a national-security necessity.
I commend Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji’s 25 years of national leadership, founded on the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and a steadfast commitment to national security.
One remains assured that remarks by foreign entrepreneurs that undermine India’s laws, sovereignty and national ethos have no place in India’s public discourse.
No foreign entrepreneur, however influential, should be allowed to redefine India’s sovereign regulatory decisions as a “crime against the people” merely because one’s commercial interests are affected.
