Galen Winsor was an American nuclear chemist who spent 15 years working at the Hanford Site, where he helped extract plutonium before moving into nuclear fuel reprocessing. After retiring in 1986, he became an outspoken opponent of federal radiation safety regulations, claiming that the dangers of low-level radiation exposure had been greatly exaggerated.
To demonstrate his beliefs, Winsor traveled across the United States delivering lectures in which he openly handled radioactive materials. In a widely shared recording from 1985, he even swallowed a small amount of uranium ore on camera while using a Geiger counter to measure radiation levels.
His controversial arguments were associated with radiation hormesis, the disputed theory that small doses of radiation may produce beneficial biological effects. This idea remains outside mainstream scientific consensus and does not establish that ingesting radioactive substances is safe.
Winsor died in 2008 at the age of 82, approximately 23 years after his infamous demonstration.

3. Systematic burning of churches: According to the French Ministry of the Interior, there have been over 1,000 anti-Catholic attacks per year in France between 2022 and 2024—statues beheaded, altars urinated upon, and the 2019 fire at Notre-Dame (which remains a mystery).
4. Rouen itself, 2024: A synagogue was set on fire, but prior to that, Catholic churches in Rouen had also been targeted.
