Whatever he wants to say, when will Hasan understand that Islam isn’t a race?? As someone said : if it wants you to convert to it, and punishes you for apostatising out of it, it is a religion; not a race. Speaking up against shari’a is not racist, it is just anti-Islamic. If all the Muslims in the USA convert to Christianity, most of the Evangelicals would defend them like anything. I can’t believe I used to think this guy is a master class debater and even wrote a book on how to win an argument.
If only blatantly racist shit like this got even 1% of the media coverage and bipartisan political outrage that random ads criticizing Israel do.

第24届台湾同志游行登场：主办单位估逾17万人上街，同志酒吧搜索案成焦点🇹🇼🏳️🌈
2026年10月31日，第24届台湾同志游行（Taiwan Pride）在台北市政府前广场举行。今年的主题是“声做伙听，路做伙行”，主办方台湾彩虹公民行动协会希望借“倾听”帮助大众理解差异、跨越身份标签。据报道，共有180多个团体报名参加。游行队伍下午出发，以象征彩虹的六种颜色分成南北两条路线绕行东区，再回到市府广场。主办单位估计参加人数超过17万。
今年游行最受关注的话题是西门町同志酒吧搜索案。台北市政府警察局万华分局在10月3日搜索了西门町一家同志酒吧，被质疑执法过当、涉及歧视。据报道，警方对现场民众、障碍者和外国游客态度粗暴。台北市政府随后致歉，惩处了相关人员，并表示会制定警察临检搜索指引。案件目前已经进入司法侦查阶段。
台湾彩虹公民行动协会理事长戴佑勋表示，比起道歉和惩处，他更看重公开透明的调查，市府应当说明警方为什么会这样对待现场民众。他也认为执法指引必须有强制力，“否则充其量只是建议”，并再次呼吁制定反歧视法。
多名政治人物到场。台北市长蒋万安在当天的首场电视辩论结束后来到现场，表示对警察的不当言行感到抱歉，会公开行政调查结果。离开时有民众要求他向同志社群道歉，双方支持者隔空喊话。台北市长参选人沈伯洋与民进党立委黄捷、吴沛忆在现场发放彩虹飘带。民进党、国民党青年团、民众党、社会民主党、时代力量等八个政党或政党团体也参与了游行。
台湾2019年在亚洲率先实现同性婚姻合法化。台湾同志游行始于2003年，是亚洲规模最大的骄傲游行之一。
