A childhood dream. A fear I ran from for years. And today, I finally face it — in public.
I'm Partnership Dude, and this is my story, an aspiring polyglot. 🇪🇸🇦🇪🇮🇹🇬🇷🇫🇷🇩🇪🇹🇿(yes, 8 languages)
If this moves you even a little, you know what to do.🤍👇

Bueno Toma!
“You won’t be replaced by AI, but by someone using AI” is 100% cope.
It assumes AI will change how we work without fundamentally changing the jobs themselves. We have no basis for that confidence.
We’re still in the earliest innings of the most transformational technology shift since the steam engine. Anyone professing to know the impact this will have on specific jobs over the next 5 years is trying to sell you something.
We can’t know exactly where this ends. But we can look at how major technological shifts tend to unfold.
And you usually see a few distinct moments:
1. Dismissal
"It's just a toy, this will never lead to value." This was ChatGPT 3 - we were using it to make limericks, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air raps, and Studio Ghibli selfies.
2. Augmentation
"You won't get replaced by AI, but by someone using AI." This is where we are now, and I bet this will be over by the end of the year.
3. Limited automation
The first roles to be fully automated will be largely procedural, those with "correct" outputs and lacking significant legal ramifications if done incorrectly. This will cause major employment displacement and will overwhelmingly impact lower-wage white-collar work.
4. Widespread adoption & automation
The universe of tasks that can be fully automated will rapidly expand, much faster than anyone realises. The impediments to this will be legal risk / accountability - we don't yet have a legal framework that can hold a model (or the person that implements a model) accountable. Until that changes, sectors like medicine, finance, legal, recruiting etc. will require someone's "neck on the block" for any AI decisions / outputs.
5. Full-scale automation
It will become apparent that AI doctors, drivers, accountants, etc. are far more effective, efficient and cheaper than humans. You'll know when this happens because it'll become more expensive to insure a human driver than if you let AI drive.
As we move through these stages, entire categories of jobs will disappear, much the way switchboard operators disappeared. So too will huge numbers of roles.
Make no mistake, the societal impact will be huge. Governments will step in and look to slow things down. That may work for a very short while, but ultimately luddite-ism doesn't work.
Now, this sounds very depressing, and you're probably wondering, "Why the hell are you saying all this, aren't you building a product that is all about jobs?!"
I'm saying this because, deep down, I know that 'work' and productive behaviour in general are features of the human condition, not bugs. Over the last 250 years, we've seen many waves of technological advancement. Each of them brought displacement, but all raised human production, ingenuity and standards of living.
We traded farming for factory work, factory work for office & services work and we'll trade office work for something else. I don't know what it'll be, but I do know that new economic opportunities will abound.
Congratulations Javi, I'm confident you will do so well.
I'm super excited to announce I have a new job!! 😱
I'm joining the @antseed team to lead the community 🐜

Good way to go. I can help close killer partnerships like this.
Excited to partner with @findatasets!

A company switches vendors, opens a new role, or raises a round. Each one's a buyer intent signal, if you catch it in time.
Open Claude → Add Orthogonal → Unlock @predictleads
For GTM teams running on agents, not spreadsheets.
This whole “billionaire tax” is a sham and has nothing to do with tax or “social services” it’s claiming to fund. It couldn’t be a more obvious attempt from government to seize tech sector.
Why would a “tax” proposal care about voting rights? Who in their right would tank private startups by taxing paper gains instead of waiting for them to mature and collect tax income at a much higher value?
Startup valuations are the fluffiest of all unrealized gains. Taxing founders on them create such a high risk for when your company’s value goes down, as it often does, that you’ll be forced to sell your company as soon as possible instead of growing it.
There are loopholes in tax code. Ro and friends have no desire to fix them because most of the people who benefit from these loopholes are democratic voters (aka trust fund kids living in NY/SF/LA).
Ro Khanna is a fucking serpent. The evil structure of the proposal is intentional. Having a dialogue with him is useless.

A year ago, I started my own fund, @baobab_ventures, while working at ElevenLabs. Twelve months in:
▪️ 2.601x MOIC
▪️ 20 investments
▪️ 2 unicorns
▪️ Solo GP with no other team members
If you're thinking of starting a micro fund too, give it a try. It is not easy, but it is possible to make it work. Founders want to be backed by people who understand their pains, but you need to differentiate yourself. For micro funds, the only thing that matters is being useful to the founders.
I back pre-seed & seed technical founders in AI, robotics & defence across the world.

Whenever you get worried about not achieving your goals just remember there’s plenty of room at the top because the majority of people are just whiny, overweight in debt, little bitches. You’ll blow past them so fast it’ll be like they’re standing still (because they are).

Earn more on Melee.
We ran the same $10,000 bet for the World Cup's Argentina vs Egypt.
Kalshi paid out $13,699.
Melee paid out $20,428.
Same bet, same game, 49% more.

“Everything seems fake now.”
.@lulumeservey on companies paying for retweets on their product launches:
“Every launch uses the same slop cinematic video, same template.”
“Half of them, you go to the engagement—it's completely fake.”
“You can just start to tell that the amount of engagement this thing has is completely disproportionate to how interesting it actually is. And when you look through the people engaging with it, it's all some random account in a developing country that has no other tweets other than shilling products like this.”
“When that happens, I write off the entire company as fake.”
“I don't think, ‘This was a fake video or fake engagement.’ I think to myself, ‘It's a fake company with a fake founder. I will never buy their product or do business with them. I would never recommend somebody go work with them. The whole thing is fake.’”
“It's better to put out something that truly represents the best version of what you’re doing that might get lower engagement, but the people who are engaging are actually real people, and they care. It's better to get 50 people who feel like this is speaking to them than to get 4,700 retweets that seem obviously fake.”

My advice to any early stage startup is immediately after completing your seed round you may acquire a very bad beard or haircut and take lots of photos just in case it all works out
