According to the October N+ Univision/YouGov poll, Latino men in Texas were nearly evenly split in the governor’s race, with 49% supporting Hinojosa and 47% supporting Abbott.
Among Hispanic voters overall, the biggest voting priorities were jobs and the cost of living (27%), followed by political corruption (16%). Groceries and gas prices were also major concerns. Interestingly, Democrats were trusted more on inflation, and gas prices, while Republicans maintained a advantage on border security.
