i tasked my agent to find me a sublet in nyc and after a while it started messaging people on japanese and other counties’ craigslists in their local languages which surprised some people
friend’s bday was last night --> he ordered a few pies from L’Industrie for pick up. I live nearby so I offered to grab them but when I got there they had no record of the order
I call him - he says he used Instinct to place the order
turns out L’Industrie wasn’t taking orders, so the agent found some random third party listing + placed it through Toast. he even got a Toast confirmation email w pickup time, pricing, etc (luckily it never actually charged him)
I show them the confirmation and they’re like “we don’t have an integration w/ Toast - however you did this pls don’t do it again” 💀
maybe the “find a solution no matter what” part of agents isn’t always great when the solution it finds is fabricated 🤣
Replying to @ResplendentRosy @aravind
they both lodged their objection 14 times in 10 months. the appeals process that decided millions of voters being disenfranchised was kept hidden from 2/3 election commissioners, which is blatantly illegal.
keep in mind this is the highest stakes problem possible in a democracy. your vote either means something or it doesn’t.
This is the best way forward
Govt can create a zk proof issuance portal. Call it zkGOV
Connect wallet, submit KYC once, wallet’s now verified
Prove to an RWA issuer or trading venue your wallet is registered with the govt, trade permissioned assets freely
In case of compliance issues, regulators would reach out to zkGOV directly
MUCH lower cost of issuance, lower liability, deeper liquidity pools, and less sanctions evasion
Make it happen already!

🚨 LATEST: SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce says zero-knowledge proofs could verify compliance without collecting users’ personal data.
She warns current KYC/AML practices create “data haystacks.”
after i got my o1, i sent a claim request to @extraordinary for their cool asf hoodie
but they just ignored me and presumably just farmed my info
so i designed a cooler version and made one myself
let me know if anyone wants the vector file to print this themselves!
officially an alien of extraordinary ability.
my O-1 just got approved.
going through this process taught me something i didn't expect: americans are genuinely some of the most helpful people on earth. the friends, mentors, and near strangers who wrote letters, made intros, and picked up the phone when i needed them, none of them had to. they did it anyway.
this is still the best country in the world to build in. the density of talent, capital, and people who want to see you win is unmatched.
for other founders going through the visa gauntlet right now, hang in there. it's worth it.
back to building. excited for what's next.
