Important people know the backstory of this ad. @patrickgaspard gave me the idea to take her inexcusable gaffe and do something edgy with it that could get attention.
My content creator, @RyanSayles_ directed and edited it. He should be considered the breakout-star of this cycle. He’s going to be a giant in the media consultant game. He did GAME CHANGING work with SO little.
And, surprising my favourite reporter, she doesn't seem to like the $17.5M cost of the new firehall.

.@JamesTalarico on Texas officially banning THC:
“This bill is insane.
Texans aren’t going to stop smoking weed and eating edibles because politicians in Austin say so. Texans will still use THC — but instead of getting it safely from a local small business, they’ll go back to getting it from the black market. From the drug cartels.
This ban is a gift to the cartels.
We are now telling full-grown adults how to live their lives. This is the nanny state at its worst; this is big government at its worst.
Instead of fully funding our schools, guaranteeing healthcare, or making childcare more affordable — this Legislature is focused on banning a product that gives people a little peace.
We’re making people’s lives harder, not easier.
I want to leave you with a quote: ‘It is time to end needless arrests and incarcerations of adults for small amounts of marijuana for personal use.’ That wasn’t a Democrat. That was President Donald Trump.
To my Republican colleagues, I’m asking you to oppose the cartels, stand with President Trump, and vote no on this insane bill.”

Lula will be defending the Amazon, while Carney builds pipelines and cements Canada’s position as a global laggard on climate action.
Congratulations, President @LulaOficial, on your re-election in Brazil.
The relationship between Canada and Brazil has flourished under our partnership. Let’s seize this opportunity to make it even stronger, together — to create major new trade opportunities, protect the environment, and build greater prosperity for both our peoples.
Good game awareness by #Canucks ’ Paul Cotter. He and Ducks’ Malott handed misconducts in 3rd period with Ducks well ahead. I’m sure they figured night was done, but Canucks came back to force OT and Cotter came back in OT to finish time in penalty box. Duck returned later.
NDP still has hope in Kelowna Centre, reports my favourite reporter.

It’s time for PM Carney to put his Davos comments into action.
Canada standing against Trump’s illegal fuel blockade of Cuba and helping send energy to Cuba is a perfect opportunity to do so.

I have an idea for a new TV show. It’s about an English professor that travels through time correcting everyone’s grammar.
It’s called, "Dr. Whom".
In soccer, they talk about goalies making themselves bigger to stop a shot. In hockey, goalies go on their knees when a shot comes and make themselves smaller. It doesn’t make sense.
Did Winnipeg Jets trade Connor Hellebuyck at the right time? He’s older now. Past his peak. #NHL
Oh man, do have to watch the #Canucks suck again? I guess I don’t, I could change the channel.
Let's frack the whole fracking province.
“The Conservative Party of BC, under the leadership of Lorne Doerkson, have a clear plan to supercharge LNG development.” — Larry Neufeld, Conservative candidate for Peace River South.
A little caution might be wise.
