Trump's POTUS jobs record is the worst in history. Fact, not conjecture. Trump understands nothing whatsoever about how businesses actually run, how jobs are created, or how to achieve even a modicum of sustained success and profitability. The reality is 180° from the myth.

Trump says he brought in “$21 trillion” of investment vs. “less than $1 trillion” under Biden.
Actual business investment: $14.5 trillion under Biden, $6.7 trillion so far under Trump.

Factory construction hit a historic record under Biden and has fallen 31% since Trump took office.

The Trump administration has some serious explaining to do, because there’s a ton of money missing and zero explanation for where it went.
The US has collected an estimated $13 billion in Venezuelan oil revenue, and at least $10 billion of it is unaccounted for.
And the independent audits that it promised Congress? Congress still doesn’t have them.
Whatever you think American foreign policy towards Venezuela should be, Congress and the public should be able to follow the money.

Putin told Iran the locations of our warships.
Today, Trump rewarded him by lifting sanctions and allowing American dollars to fuel Russia’s war machine.
Our troops are in harm’s way, and the President cut a deal with the adversary putting a target on their backs.

Trump is now funding Russia’s war against Ukraine with his new diesel deal. He started a war with Iran, prices went up, and now he tries to solve that by enabling a war criminal. It’s disgusting.

Today Trump announced a deal to supply Russian diesel to U.S. and global markets. Just three weeks ago, he signed a law targeting major buyers of Russian oil and gas with tariffs of up to 100%. The goal was to cut off funding for Putin’s war against Ukraine. So what changed?

The trade deficit in August was $36 billion larger than the Biden average.
Trump's tariffs have failed.

With Saudi oil now blockaded, Americans are about to discover why maintaining stability in the Middle East and not handing it to a consortium of Russia and Iran was always important.
Walking through every step of Trump's actions in Iran, it almost seems like a wishlist drafted in the Kremlin.
- Start a war with Iran that drives up oil prices
-Take sanctions off Russia long enough to allow 180 million barrels of unpurchased floating crude oil to be sold at high prices
- Burn up US interceptor stockpile with no plan for mass production
- Cut off Ukraine's supply
- Refuse to aid Saudi Arabia as Houthis blockade Bab el-Mandeb Strait
Next up - $200/barrel oil and take sanctions off Russia as solution.

Before I retired in 2024, the “worst case scenario” in the Pentagon for the Middle East was both Straits being closed. It was not even imaginable except in PowerPoint briefs and War College gaming scenarios.
Under Pete Hegseth, it has become a reality in less than six months.

Stanley Druckenmiller renders an unfavorable opinion of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's use of buybacks to defend against higher yields in a market that is functioning normally.
"I have spent five decades trading on a simple premise: Markets aggregate information no committee possesses, and prices are how that information reaches decision makers. The long-term Treasury yield is the most important price in the world. It is also the only fiscal disciplinarian the U.S. has left."
"Every basis point of artificial yield suppression is a subsidy to procrastination."
"Return buybacks to their stated purpose: small, scheduled, off-the-run liquidity operations announced at quarterly refundings, never off-cycle responses to yield levels. Term out the debt honestly and pay the price the market sets."
"If the 30-year must trade at 5.5% to clear, that isn’t a crisis. It is an invoice. Then do the only thing that durably lowers long-term yields: address the primary deficit."

There are core measures of decency in a society that has basic moral values. One is you do not treat fellow human beings as if they are less than human. A second is you do not treat animals, whether dogs, cats, horses, bears, or wolves, as suitable for torture or murder. 1
