Karnataka’s allegations of excessive ethanol blending in petrol have sparked a fresh political debate, with Political Analyst Tehseen Poonawalla claiming that another state government is preparing to reveal figures that could point to a much bigger controversy.
The Karnataka government, has alleged that oil marketing companies supplied petrol with ethanol levels exceeding the prescribed 20% limit. Tests conducted on 63 samples across seven districts reportedly found ethanol content as high as 31.2%, with another sample recording 30.5%.
Minister Rizwan Arshad has sought action against the oil companies, questioned fuel quality and demanded greater transparency, consumer compensation and an explanation from the Centre.
Reacting to Karnataka’s move, Poonawalla said Team Bharat stood vindicated over its concerns about the alleged E20 controversy. He thanked the Karnataka government for bringing the findings to light and claimed that another state government would soon expose what he described as a much bigger alleged ethanol-related issue.
Poonawalla further claimed that the next controversy could be “100 times bigger” than the E20 issue.

अमित शाह सदन में साफ कह चुके थे कि SIR के नाम पर संसद में चर्चा नहीं हो सकती। लेकिन जैसे ही राहुल गांधी ने बाहर बहस की चुनौती दी, वही अमित शाह अचानक पलट गए और कहने लगे कि सदन में आइए, स्पेशल सेशन बुलाएंगे।
यह आरएसएस और भाजपा की पुरानी विचारधारा है—मुद्दे से भटको, देश को गुमराह करो और हर बार नौटंकी करो। सदन में जब खुद भाजपा वाले चर्चा से भागते हैं तो विपक्ष पर आरोप लगा देते हैं कि विपक्ष ही चर्चा नहीं करना चाहता। अब वीडियो निकल आया है तो सारी पोल खुल गई।
सच्चाई यही है कि पूरी भाजपा सरकार डरी हुई है। राहुल गांधी ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को बहस की चेतावनी दी है और असली देश के गद्दारों को बेनकाब करने की बात कही है। इसी डर से सारी नौटंकीबाजी चल रही है। उनके छुटभैया मंत्री फालतू में फुदक रहे हैं। वे सब कठपुतली की तरह नाचे जा रहे हैं। उनका काम सिर्फ वोटिंग तक सीमित है। देश के विकास में इनका कोई योगदान नहीं। पिछले एक दशक से देश को बर्बाद करके रखा है।
अब तो खुद केंद्रीय मंत्री कह रहे हैं कि आने वाली सरकारी योजनाएं वोटर आईडी पर सेट होंगी, आधार कार्ड पर नहीं। इसका सीधा मतलब है कि देश के लोगों और संविधान के साथ साजिश रची जा रही है।
भाजपा की ये सारी नौटंकी अब बेनकाब हो चुकी है। डर के मारे दोगलापन करना बंद करो।
